As we head into Christmas holidays I think it‘s a good time to offer a reminder that the way you treat the staff at establishments you visit, directly affects their day & well-being. ... To you they may be no one, but to someone they are everything. Remember kindness. Remember simple manners. Remember that the hospitality industry has been through a lot this year & continues to be affected by change. Remember these staff have adapted & continue to adapt, implementing new practices & procedures every time the government changes the rules. Remember there is now a staffing shortage across hospitality & a lot of the time businesses may be stretched, but still always giving their best to get your order to you ASAP. Remember a lot of staff are in new roles with new businesses. Remember some kids are just starting out at their first job & finding their feet & their confidence.
