25.01.2022 "Everything will change when your desire to move on exceeds your desire to hold on."

25.01.2022 Visualization is the initial step in the demonstration of the occult law that "energy follows thought." This, of course, everyone interested in occult study rec...ognizes theoretically. One of the tasks confronting disciples is to achieve factual knowledge of this. Pictorial visualization (which is a definite feature of the work in many esoteric schools) is simply an exercise to bring about the power to visualize. In the work of those disciples who are being trained for initiation, this external aspect of visualization must give place to an interior process which is the first step towards the direction of energy. The visualizing of pictures is intended to focus the aspirant within the head at a point midway between the pituitary body and the pineal gland. In that area, he draws pictures and paints scenes and thus acquires facility to see - in large and in detail - that which he desires and for which he intends to work. The visualizing of what might be called "directed process" goes on in a more focussed manner and in the area directly around the pineal gland. The pineal gland then becomes the center of a magnetic field which is set in motion - in the first place - by the power of visualization. At that point, energy is gathered by the disciple and then directed with intention to one or other of the centers. This focussed thought produces inevitable effects within the etheric body and thus two aspects of the creative imagination are brought into play. 24.01.2022 FIVE ELEMENTS AND INNER ALCHEMY Our ancestors all over the globe understood both themselves and the world around them as composed of five qualities in a multipl...icity of combinations that make up reality. EARTH is our physical body, sthula sharira. Earth in the alchemical sense carries the archetypal properties of manifestation, birth, and material creation. It is representative of potential, the point where the old gives way to the new; the empty fertility ready to feed new creations. Earth is representative of passive, feminine aspects. Zodiac signs linked with earth are: Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn, Season winter. Time of day midnight. AIR is our mental body and intellect. In the alchemical sense air carries the archetypal properties of spirit into the manifested world. It is the element of new beginnings, youth, increase, and creativity. Air is representative of active, masculine properties. Zodiac signs linked with air are Gemini, Libra, Aquarius. Season spring. Time of day morning. WATER stands for emotions, astral body. Water in the alchemical sense carries the archetypal properties of motion, movement, cleansing and purification. It is the element of emotion and wisdom of age, represents a time past. Water is representative of passive, feminine aspects. Zodiac signs linked with water are: Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces. Season fall. Time of day sunset. FIRE corresponds to our soul. Fire in the alchemical sense carries the archetypal properties of activity and transmutation. It is the element of fullness and life, and it is closely associated with the Sun and full moon. Fire is representative of active, masculine aspects. Zodiac signs linked with fire are: Aries, Leo, Sagittarius. Season summer. Time of day noon. SPIRIT is the element of aether, Quintessence (Quinta Essentia). It is the essential presence of something or someone, the living thing itself that animates or gives something or someone its deepest characteristics. It can be thought of as the ethereal embodiment of the life force; individual essence. A point-up pentagram symbolizes spirit ruling over the four physical elements, while a point-down pentagram symbolizes spirit being subsumed by matter or descending into matter.

23.01.2022 According to ancient Asian philosophy, life is not a circle but a spiral. Every life lesson that has ever been presented to you (which means everything you hav...e ever been through) will come back again, in some form, until you learn it. And the stakes each time will be higher. Whatever you’ve learned will bear greater fruit. Whatever you’ve failed to learn will bear harsher consequences. Whatever didn’t work in your life before this point was a reflection of the fact that you hadn’t yet integrated the different parts of yourself. Where you didn’t yet accept yourself, you attracted a lack of acceptance in others. Where you hadn’t yet dealt with your shadows, you manifested shadowy situations. Broken parts of you encountered broken parts of others. So now you know! That was then and this is now. Marianne Williamson

20.01.2022 [five questions Question 1 What is the Soul? Can we define it? What is its Nature? ...four definitions which will serve as a basis for all that follows.... A. & B. - see prior] C. The soul is (and here words limit and distort) a unit of light, colored by a particular ray vibration; it is a vibrating center of energy found within the appearance or form of its entire ray life. It is one of seven groups of millions of lives which in their totality constitute the One Life. From its very nature, the soul is conscious or aware in three directions. It is God-conscious; it is group-conscious; it is self-conscious. This self-conscious aspect is brought to fruition in the phenomenal appearance of a human being; the group-conscious aspect retains the human state of consciousness, but adds to it awareness of its ray life, progressively unfolded; its awareness then is the awareness of love, of quality, of spirit in its relationships; it is God-conscious only potentially, and in that unfoldment lies, for the soul, its own growth upward and outward after its self-conscious aspect is perfected and its group-awareness is recognized. The soul therefore has the following points, or appearances: [see image] Aspirants who are studying and training themselves to live the life of service might be regarded as having reached the point where the line is to be found. To visualize this correctly [42] the sign should be regarded as in rapid revolution, thus producing a turning wheel, which is the wheel of life.

20.01.2022 The Alchemy of Intention ~ Intention is defined as a thing intended; an aim or plan. Although it seems that intention is more powerful than a simple definitio...n. It’s the integral element that makes matter respond to your deepest wishes and desires. It’s a simplified energy that manifests itself through matter. It’s alchemical and has the ability to manipulate the integrity of the goal. Intention can be viewed as a form of sorcery that is developed within, and released through physical execution. It’s a powerful feeling that can easily be hidden within words and action. The mass populace falls victim to this daily, whether through art, advertising, literature, or sales pitch We never seem to look beyond the surface to view the root of it’s intention. Once you understand the root, you can understand the goal. Think deeply about what you say, and how you say it. The tone of someone can speak volumes on the nature of the subject. Intention finds it’s way in conversation, compliments, and actions. There are elements which can be read, to fully understand why something has found you, and eventually affects you. Listen to the tone of the individual, because it’s very similar to cymatics. It’s scientifically proven that tone can affect matter, whether positive or negative. We communicate these feelings, and whether we try to hide them within words or posture, we tend to reveal the truth through the energy we put out. Like a magician, you can try to hide the trick with movement or minor distractions, but to those that are aware of a trick being pulled, we can see right through the distraction. By nature, human beings have wants and desires. Though, these have been manipulated through the programming of advertising and story telling to further consumerism. The capitalist society of America, clouds our thoughts with product developments and advancements for a better life and luxury. Yet, we find ourselves inherently unhappy with these objects and achievements, because we’ve lost the integral understanding of what makes us happy. Learn to Love, and use your heart to aim the intention, and ground it. If you over think it, you will only put yourself against your peers, and compare yourself to other people’s quality of life. That’s the inner dialogue we cloud ourselves with you tend to want what other people have for that momentary happiness, but it’s all temporary. We need to let go of those impulses and desires, and manifest things that will have a long term effect on the global quality of life. The world is a beautiful place, and humanity is a very special element that will alter our landscapes to create this artificial environment we’ve been led to. We’ve poisoned the soil beneath our feet, in hopes to further ourselves individually. The intention was to make our singular lives better in the immediate moment, with no understanding of how this will affect generations to come. The future is the manifestation of our intentions in this moment. Let your heart guide you, and understand that we are all magicians, using language and movement to disguise ourselves. We all have the power within that will transcend our environment. Our intention is a powerful cadence that transmutes the matter around us. It’s not the objects of our affection that we must chase, but the intention we project.

16.01.2022 SEXUAL ALCHEMY Find union with self. Find union with another who has found union with self. "The Great Tibetan Tantra Masters have said: The first lesson of se...xual Tantrism is that in order to free oneself from desire or attachment, the right way is neither to deny it nor to repress it, but to give it effect, to satisfy it in a way that is so perfect and so conscious that, because the experience has been so totally lived through, we shall be free. It is not a question of denying sex but of disciplining it. Thus, not only does sexual love give us access into God’s very nature, it can also be the means to encounter it. True tantra is not about the physical need to release sexually charged love, it goes beyond that to transcend it. Rather sexual love can be a bona fide sacrament of the highest order. Through sex where it is pure and unperverted it is given to men and women to understand the greatest laws of the universe directly and, as it were, by birthright. By this force, if they respect it and let it teach them, they may be lead along the path of human development towards perfection. By this force, if they keep all that is negative and base away from it, it is granted to them to taste those sensations of ecstasy and union which are of the nature of the highest consciousness. By pure sex, the ordinary man may gain in a moment what the ascetic denies himself of years to achieve, what the saint prays for a lifetime to feel. But this only on condition that he approaches it already free from fear, from violence, and from greed. And on condition that he does not afterwards deny what he learns in sex, but on the contrary allows the understanding attained to pass into all other sides of his life, mellowing, harmonizing and enriching them also." -- Rodney Collin (26 April 19093 May 1956) was a British writer in the area of spiritual development. His work was heavily influenced by his teacher P. D. Ouspensky and, through him, G. I. Gurdjieff and their system of spiritual development. image: The Thoth Deck, The Lovers

12.01.2022 Merkabah- (Hebrew , , or ) Literally, "thing to ride in, cart," interpreted to mean chariot. Refers to the superior bodies that the ini...tiate must build to reach "heaven." In Western mysticism, the chariot is most known in relation with Ezekiel, and is described as being composed of four holy creatures, which symbolize the four solar bodies: causal, mental, astral, and physical. In alchemy, these are symbolized by C.O.N.H. (carbon, oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen). There is a formula that defines all of this: C. O. N. H. These are four forces, the four bodies of the initiate, four bodies with which the Seity is dressed when the Seity wants to be manifested. 1. C - Carbon. In #Alchemy, the letter C symbolizes the conscious body of willpower; it is the carbon of occult chemistry. 2. O - Oxygen. In Alchemy, the letter O symbolizes the true solar mental body which was built in the forge of the Cyclops, the oxygen of sacred chemistry. 3. N - Nitrogen. In Alchemy, the letter N symbolizes the authentic Solar astral body, which is very different from the body of desires. It is obvious that the legitimate sidereal body is the nitrogen of occult chemistry. 4. H - Hydrogen. In Alchemy, the H symbolizes the physical body, the three-dimensional vehicle of flesh and bones. The four atoms are within the Ain Soph Paranishpanna and from there emanate the four bodies with which the Seity dresses Itself. The Seity builds them instantaneously, in other words, at any given moment, when the Seity wishes to work in a world for the good of humanity, and then It appears as a Self-realized, a self-cognizant master, owner of life and death. With these four alchemical atoms, the Ain Soph Paranishpanna rebuilds the Merkabah, the chariot (the solar bodies), in order to enter into any universe when it is necessary. The chariot is also symbolized as the Wedding Garment (Christianity), the chariot of Apollo (Greek), the chariot of Krishna (Hindu), To Soma Heliakon (Greek), and Sahu (Egyptian). We must not forget that Merkabah is the chariot of the centuries, the celestial human being of the Kabbalah. As a sequence or corollary, we can and we must affirm that those who have not performed the work in the Ninth Sphere (sex) indeed do not possess the chariot, the Merkabah. 11.01.2022 The reason [inclusive reason] is that pure intuitional infallible comprehension which grasps cause and effect simultaneously, and sees why and whence and to wha...t end all things are moving. It is not possible for the aspirant to take these words into his meditation and profit greatly thereby, for he will be meditating as an aspiring mind, and not as a soul. No matter, therefore, how great his effort, it will be the material more than the consciousness aspect and pattern which will engross his attention. When he has reached the point where he can meditate both as a soul and as a mind, involving also the brain reaction, then he will understand the purpose of these words and will view both the symbol, the inner living structure and the emerging conscious ideas with a synthetic comprehension and a simultaneity of reception which it is impossible for me to put into words. You might well ask me here of what profit is it then for me to write these things at all, and to say much that I have said in this Treatise. I would reply: There are a few today, and there will be an increasing number in the next two decades, who - grasping the beauty of the presented idea - will be urged by their souls to work towards these ends. By so doing, they will succeed in raising the consciousness of the entire human family. The results of using this meditation on the synthetic detail of the manifested Life will be 1. The realization of the true significance of Light and the revelation of the meaning of what has been called in esoteric books, "the heart of the Sun", which is the inner point of life in all manifested forms. Illumination of the mind will be seen to be direct and infallible and will usurp the place of the present theoretical knowledge and belief. 2. The creative imagination will be occupied with those measures which will "throw the light" into the dark and unrelieved places in the (as yet) incomplete creative process. The man then works consciously in the light, as a Light bearer. Perhaps my meaning will emerge more clearly to some of you when I point out to you that the disciple usually sees himself as a point of intensified light within the light of the world and then seeks to use that light (which is in him atomic, etheric and that acquired as a soul) for the furtherance of the Plan. 3. This necessarily produces an intensified service to "those in dark places". The disciple will seek to bring the light of knowledge to them first of all, and then the light of Life. Ponder deeply on this distinction.

11.01.2022 Mental Transmutation"Mind (as well as metals and elements) may be transmuted, from state to state; degree to degree; condition to condition; pole to pole; vibration to vibration. True Hermetic Transmutation is a Mental Art."--The Kybalion.

10.01.2022 It is also called the elixir of life, useful for rejuvenation and for achieving immortality; for many centuries, it was the most sought goal in alchemy. The phi...losophers' stone was the central symbol of the mystical terminology of alchemy, symbolizing perfection at its finest, enlightenment, and heavenly bliss. Many symbols are found within the geometry of this symbol: The triangle representing the holy trinity, the square representing the material elements, and the circle representing the cosmos. These symbols are also seen to represent the three principles of Hermetic magic: Alchemy, the science of the material, Astrology, the science of the cosmos, and Theurgy, the science of the spirits. The Circle Squared shares its name with an ancient geometric puzzle: Squaring the circle. It is the simple challenge of constructing a square with the same area as a given circle by using only a compass and straightedge. The problem proved so difficult that the term squaring the circle came to mean attempting the impossible. See more

07.01.2022 Some periods of our growth are so confusing that we don’t even recognize that growth is happening. We may feel hostile or angry or weepy and hysterical, or we ...may feel depressed. It would never occur to us, unless we stumbled on a book or a person who explained to us, that we were in fact in the process of change, of actually becoming larger, spiritually, than we were before. Whenever we grow, we tend to feel it, as a young seed must feel the weight and inertia of the earth as it seeks to break out of its shell on its way to becoming a plant. Often the feeling is anything but pleasant. But what is most unpleasant is the not knowing what is happening. Those long periods when something inside ourselves seems to be waiting, holding its breath, unsure about what the next step should be, eventually become the periods we wait for, for it is in those periods that we realize that we are being prepared for the next phase of our life and that, in all probability, a new level of the personality is about to be revealed. 06.01.2022 To train people to work in mental matter is to train them to create; to teach people to know the nature of the soul is to put them in conscious touch with the s...ubjective side of manifestation and to put into their hands the power to work with soul-energy; to enable people to unfold the potencies of the soul aspect is to put them en rapport with the forces and energies hidden in all the kingdoms of Nature. A man can then - as his soul contact and his subjective perception is strengthened and developed - become a conscious creator, cooperating with the plans of evolution and of God. As he passes through the different stages, his ability so to work and his capacity to get at the thought lying behind all symbols and forms increases. He is no longer taken in by the appearance but knows it as the illusory form which is veiling, imprisoning and confining some thought. 05.01.2022 Saturn is in Capricorn now (until March 21, 2020). As you know, Saturn is ruled by Capricorn. This offers great opportunity to do our ''Saturn homework'' but al...so - if we choose the opportunity - Saturn's presence in Capricorn can empower us with positive Saturnian qualities much needed at this time (leadership, grounding/being realistic; achieving our goals) and in our commitment to spiritual growth (Saturn governs the ''testing'' phase of the spiritual Path until we have proven ourselves to be fully committed to our higher ideals, and are steady, reliable, trustworthy, etc.) . Saturn in Capricorn challenges us and potentially empowers us to do our best and to be our best. It's also an opportunity to deal with ''unfinished business'' and facing issues we have avoided (taking action; assuming responsibility). Here are some Saturn keynotes that come to mind : Self-Examination Testing Karma Opportunity Commitment Responsibility Limits/Boundaries Organisation Foundations Self-Control Discipline Discipleship Effort Work Focus Standards Accomplishment Strength Humility Obstacles/Testing: ''Moreover, one must be aware that an easy horoscope is not a blessing, but the reverse. We grow by obstacles. All great spirits have difficult horoscopes.'' - Helena Roerich, Letters of Helena Roerich II, 19 August 1937 ''Each growth of spirit requires burdening through circumstances. There exists an ancient legend that out of human sufferings are created precious stones... It is time to understand the responsibility and the privilege afforded by earthly incarnations.'' Hierarchy, 38 ''When We say, Set sail, We mean that you must try the ocean; the grandeur of its waves will give you joy. Does not the testing of one's strength lead to a growth of power? It may seem impossible to cross an abyss, but you have already crossed many an abyss and smiled. You see, I do not speak of fantasies, but of that which has already been tested and for which there are witnesses. Courage comes from knowing one's path." Agni Yoga, 257 "Courage, courage, and again courageis today’s dictum. The feathers of fear pull us down, whereas the wings of courage carry us over the abyss. Thus, let us be inspired by the beauty of courage and by the power of faith in the luminous future. I send joy to you, but this is a special joy, it is the joy of difficulties. When we shall learn not to be frightened by difficulties, we shall come close to the bearing of achievement." - Letters of Helena Roerich II The disciples on the path of Service must apply all the best strivings of their spirit and consciousness. While creating, one should understand that only the application of the best actions affords corresponding results. Thus, let us not expect beautiful results where the spirit has not applied its best strivings. Often people wonder why their undertakings are unsuccessful. Let us say then, Did you apply all your best impulses? ...Thus, one must understand that each irresponsible action, each non-goalfitting deed, may bring many unnecessary and harmful consequences. Thus, the disciples on the path must display their best strivings and ardor...Hierearchy, 137. ''Achievement and testing have a deep scientific significance. The fiery element requires pressure; it scintillates during tension, and therefore labor is a fiery action. Indeed, achievement, as the crown of labor, is the most radiant tension of fire. Let us apprehend labor in all its significance, as both mental and physical.'' Fiery World - Book 2 (1934) - 418 ''The one all important a disciple has to personally decide, and upon which the result of all his effort will depend, is what mark he shall set for his goal. What is his ultimate aim ? Is that goal, that aim, high, mediocre, or low ? For upon his decision the individual tests he will have to meet have been set, and as surely as the law of cause and effect is unalterable, just so surely will his triumph or defeat rest upon his passing those individual tests.'' Francia LaDue, Teachings of the Temple Choice/Commitment: ''Commitment is a stretch when you commit to something new, something constructive and healthy, and stick to it, such as commitment to your integrity...There are degrees of commitment, and each new degree is a stretch... The more you enter your life consciously, the more challenges and opportunities appear in equal measure. The more difficulties and tumultuous emotions you experience consciously and challenge, the more potential for freedom from fear and the spaciousness of joy appear. The more you stretch yourself, the more you gain. And you gain nothing when you do not stretch yourself. Creating authentic power is stretching yourself in every way that counts. At the center of your life, moment by moment, is choice. Even when it seems that you have no choice. When you nd yourself doing things that have created painful consequences in the past Ask yourself: Do I want to create what I have habitually created or do I want to create different, healthier choices? CHOOSE the consequences that you want to create. You can choose to perpetuate those experiences...or instead to reach for the healthiest part of yourself that you can imagine in the moment and act on it. The more you do that, the more you free yourself. Authentic Power is the alignment of your personality with your soul. Practice integrity at all times (often requires action, such as speaking when frightened parts of my personality don’t want to speak and not speaking when they feel compelled to speak). Say or do what is most difficult. Pain by itself is merely pain, but the experience of pain coupled with an understanding that the pain serves a worthy purpose as suffering. Suffering can be endured because there is a reason for it that is worth the effort. What is more worthy of your pain than the evolution of your soul? There would be no accumulation of strength inside if the choices that you make did not require discipline and intention." ~ Gary Zukav, The Seat of the Soul Responsiblity: ''But many, so many, seek to avoid the pain of their problems by saying to themselves; 'This problem was caused me by other people, or by social circumstances beyond my control, and therefore it is up to other people or society to solve this problem for me. It is not really my personal problem'. Most people who come to see a psychiatrist are suffering from what is called either a neurosis or a character disorder. Put most simply, these two conditions are disorders of responsibility, and as such they are opposite styles of relating to the world and its problems. The neurotic assumes too much responsiblity; the person with a character disorder not enough. When neurotics are in conflict with the world they automatically assume that they are at fault. When those with character disorders are in conflict with the world they automatically assume that the world is at fault. Few of us can escape being neurotic or character disordered to at least some degree. The reason for this is that the problem of distinguishing what we are and what we are not responsible for in this life is one of the greatest problems of human existence. It is never completely solved; for the entirety of our lives we must continually assess and reassess where our responsibilities lie in the everchanging course of events... To perform either process adequately we must possess the willingness and the capacity to suffer continual self-examination... To be free people we must assume total responsibility for ourselves, but in doing so must possess the capacity to reject responsibility that is not truly ours. To be organized and efficient, to live wisely, we must daily delay gratification and keep an eye on the future; yet to live joyously we must also possess the capacity, when it is not destructive, to live in the present and act spontaneously. In other words, discipline itself must be disciplined. The type of discipline required to discipline discipline is what I call balancing... Most do not fully see this truth that life is difficult. Instead they moan more or less incessantly, noisily or subtly, about the enormity of their problems, their burdens, and their difficulties as if life were generally easy, as if life should be easy Life is a series of problems. Do we want to moan about them or solve them? Problems call forth our courage and our wisdom; indeed, they create our courage and our wisdom. It is only because of problems that we grow mentally and spiritually. The problem lies not in the complexity of these tools but in the will to use them. For they are tools with which pain is confronted rather than avoided, and if one seeks to avoid legitimate suffering, then one will avoid the use of these tools.'' -Scott Peck, The Road Less Travelled Karma/Limits "Let simplicity be your guide and one-pointed love your major objective. Choose a field of service which has its definite limits (for all disciples are limited and cannot cover a planetary range in their thoughts), and workmentally and physicallywithin those limits. The completion of some self-appointed task within the field of karmic limitation and of environment where your destiny has cast you is all that is required of you. What are you accomplishing really at this time? Let your service lie within the field of contact where you find yourself, and reach not out over the entire planet. Is there any greater or more important task than to fulfill your task and carry it to completion in the place where you are and with your chosen comrades? Believe me when I assure you that I am not seeking to evade answering any questions, but if I can awaken you to the realisation of the necessity for "spiritual limitation" (as it is esoterically called when defining the career of a disciple within the limits of his task) and bring to your attention the need for achieving the goal you set yourself when you started to work, I shall have aided you far more than if I had defined vibration or pointed out to you just how much progress, through what process, you or others had made." Alice Bailey, Esoteric Healing ''If you desire to labor for the good of the world, it will be unwise for you to strive to include it all at once in your efforts. If you can help elevate or teach but one soul that is a good beginning, and more than is given to many.'' William Q. Judge, Musings on the True Path "After all is said, it is the simplest thing that is asked, simple Faith and trust and love and work. You are asked to perform no great deed, nothing but your simple daily duty ; one hour, one minute at a time ; nothing more, nothing less.'' Francia LaDue, Teachings of the Temple ------ ''How can we begin such a seemingly Herculean task of regeneration and transfiguration of ourselves, our minds, our planet? This is a question which must have as many answers as there are individual persons. But, in all cases, the answer demands a clear recognition of what is at stake and a fervent eagerness to consecrate our whole person to the effort obviously necessary to produce an effectual and transforming solution. In this sense, of course, Saturn will appear also as taskmaster and disciplinarian. Yet in this discipline, there can be joy and peace inasmuch as the whole nature not only assents to it but also participates in it as well. As it is performed, all the energies of life become integrated and condensed in the pursuit of this one goal, this final life achievement.'' - Dane Rudhyar, Meditations on Saturn www.khaldea.com/rudhy/astroarticles/meditationsonsaturn.php Saturn Enters Capricorn https://www.forrestastrology.com///saturn-enters-capricorn Facing Karma (Rudolf Steiner) https://wn.rsarchive.org/Lectures/19120208p01.html Saturn and the Inner Journey of Capricorn https://realastrologers.com//saturn-journey-capricorn-part/

05.01.2022 The Four Worlds of Magick The ancients’ description for mankind was mind, body, and soul. Then the psychologists of the twentieth century added the subconscious... to the mix thus producing a four-fold classification. The universe itself is also divided into four corresponding parts ('worlds'), as shown below: Quality: Intuition/Rational Thought/Emotions/Physical Senses World: Spiritual World/Mental World/Astral World/Physical World Body: Spiritual Body (soul)/Mental Body (conscious mind)/Astral Body (subconscious)/ Physical Body The astral body (subconscious) is the intermediary for intuition, magical and psychic phenomena, and is the 'psychic link' to the physical world. J.H. Brennan says that the astral is the realm of visual imagination. It seems to be both a 'place' and at the same time a 'state of mind'. Most occult and magical phenomena originate in the invisible, non-sensate, non-physical realm. Each of the four worlds inter-acts with the other worlds. Psychic energy flows from the spiritual to mental to astral to physical. The physical world is a projection (manifestation, reflection, or shadow) of the higher worlds. Our center of consciousness is generally within these higher worlds. "We are", after all, "spirits in the material world". There are many similar terms used by other occult groups. For example, 'astral light' is another name for the astral world, although it may sometimes also refer to the entire non-physical realm, as could 'inner planes' or 'the invisible world'. Planes are essentially the same as worlds. Vehicles or sheaths are the same as bodies. Some groups include an etheric or vital body between physical and astral: it is mostly 'physical' with a little of the lower 'astral' besides. And sometimes astral and mental are each divided into two parts (upper and lower). The 'causal body' is the upper 'mental'. We have been describing 'traditional' occult philosophy here, and certainly, an important part of the tradition is the idea (and terms) microcosm and macrocosm. The greater universe, known as the macrocosm, includes everything that exists. It corresponds with the microcosm, or tiny universe, i.e. man who is thought of as a miniature replica of the macrocosm (whole universe). The magician, as a microcosm is thus connected to the macrocosm. There is an intimate relationship of energies between you and everything else. The universe is reflected within us and we are projected into the universe. This is an important theory behind magick and dare I say astrology. 'Personal magick' is that magick used to affect the self; often involving affirmation, self-suggestion, and self-hypnosis. 'Active magick' is an outer-directed magick used to affect someone or something or to bring about an event. 'Passive magick' is to be affected by an outside non-physical cause. Everyone possesses some magical (and psychic) potential. Some are especially gifted. Usually, people are better at one kind of magic than they are at the other; only rarely does an individual excel at both. Training and practice will, of course, improve ability somewhat. Although the forces of magick are neutral, various systems may take on the qualities of good and evil. There is so-called white magick or good magick, baneful magick or evil magick, and gray magick, the state of in-between. When reference is made to white magick it means magick for unselfish purposes, including healing and mental influence with specific permission. By baneful magick reference is made to magick for self-interest and healing without specific permission. Using magick to forcefully control another's will is, in a sense, baneful magick too. There are also some people on the occult fringe who claim to be, possibly even think they are Dark Arts practitioners. These people are most likely charlatans, hoaxers, dabblers, or merely misinformed. They may be attracted by the 'art' of baneful magick, or even by the 'glamour' of doing something against the 'rules'. But a real dark arts practitioner can be very dangerous. We usually think of 'white magick' as having unselfish intent, and of 'baneful magick'(in the extreme case) as being actual dangerous unconventional magical practice. It is all a matter of degree. Most mild self-interest magick (one of the most common kinds) would be called 'gray'. Better terms may be constructive magick as being beneficial; and aversive magick as magick intended to work against the natural order, and to tear down. There is also the high magick of spiritual alchemy (spiritual growth), also known as 'the Great Work'; and conversely, there is 'low magick' which is concerned with materiality. Any magick act is likely to produce side effects regardless of whether or not the desired result is achieved. Such side effects are no problem for constructive magick, since they are beneficial as well. However, aversive magick can produce aversive side effects which may even harm the magician aversive magick can be hazardous. What we have been calling 'magick' is actually a continuous process. Since your subconscious never rests, your environment is continually being shifted into line with your model. This is true whether you study magick or not. For most people, these effects are usually very subtle, and they are probably not aware of them. However, as you work with the occult, the flow of psychic energy and your awareness of it increases. Your true will is more likely to be strongly expressed. Your luck may be affected (either in a positive manner or adversely). Remember, our lives tend to follow that which we desire most deep within. That is why a positive outlook is always very beneficial to be maintained. ii-wy em hotep - Patrick Gaffiero

03.01.2022 Are you an alchemist on your divine path? Do you wanna be?

02.01.2022 We stand together in spiritual enterprise. All of you have voluntarily and without pressure stated your willingness to go forward into a more intensive spiritua...l life. This you must do in the freedom of your own souls and through the power of your own intellects. You will follow such instructions as seem to you reasonable and right but - when you do choose to follow them - you will attempt to fulfill the requirements with exactitude. You will analyze and question the requirements which from time to time come from me and you will accept no belief in their verbal inspiration. Language ever handicaps and limits. You will also be guided in your work by health and circumstance, and you will ever remember that Masters are made through the achieving of mastery and not through obedience to any person. You will bear in mind that I, your teacher, am not constantly aware of your physical condition or daily doings. I concern not myself with the affairs of the personality and those misguided aspirants who claim that the Masters are forever telling them what to do and are guiding them in their personal affairs are still far from the grade of accepted discipleship. You will remember that the light will shine into a mind that is self-controlled and free from the mental dominance of another mind. With these provisos clearly understood, let us pass on to the enunciation of certain principles and to a consideration of what it may be possible to do. See more
