19.01.2022 This week we are playing at the wonderful Strathmore Secondary College. They have the most fabulous drama program - building confidence, creativity and team skills - and have invited us to perform our hilarious improvised musical many times. Students love seeing their song titles come to life and our wonderful cast in action. This week features the incomparable talents of Rik Brown, Louisa Fitzhardinge and Amanda Buckley (pictured), of course the scorching fingers of John Thorn on keys, and that guy Russell Fletcher hosting and directing the action. More events and gigs coming soon. Message John or Russell to see how we can entertain your mob. #schools #entertainment #skills #musicaltheatre #comedy #drama #teachers #events #festivals
14.01.2022 This show will be SPECTACULAR with Spontaneous Broadway's own absolutely awesome Louisa Fitzhardighe and Amberly Cull doing their magic to support their upcoming Edinburgh Festival shows. Don't miss it!!
13.01.2022 I'll be sharing the stage with all these amazing people 7pm this Sunday night as we launch Spontaneous Broadway into London at the very cosy Aces and Eights in ...Tufnell Park. I'm beyond excitement. Anything can and will happen but I'm reliably informed I'm in very safe hands. Get along London people or those out of town tell your London buddies. They will thank you later I promise. https://www.facebook.com/events/536136693987975/ See more
12.01.2022 Great first review for our opening night show. Thank you Adelaide. We are having the time of our lives. 2 amazing shows down and 2 more to come, featuring the return of the incredible Dame Helen Highwater (Genevieve Morris). https://theclothesline.com.au/spontaneous-broadway-adelaid/
11.01.2022 Another night and another brilliant show with 4 great pitches/songs and a touching musical about talking animals and the power of redemption through song, dance and cabaret. A well deserved standing ovation as well. Only 6 more shows at the sublimely gorgeous Campari House in Hardware Lane. Must finish this Sunday https://youtu.be/WG6JhihKY3o https://youtu.be/qbAdLOvVYAk https://youtu.be/vihhDSPozec https://youtu.be/8_joJ2iT4RE https://youtu.be/YckgYB9tbyM
07.01.2022 Amberly Cull (as 1920's orphan street seller Jimmy Newsboy) signs off on a great Spontaneous Broadway season with the improvised song "Boy It's Hard Being Single" from our final show at Campari House. thanks for the great support. We will be back very soon.
06.01.2022 Our 4 star review in the Advertiser. We couldn't agree more. Dream team, Dream season. More please...
03.01.2022 A fabulous afternoon with the lovely Janette Patton attending SPONTANEOUS BROADWAY. Audience members create song title suggestions of which 4 are improvised int...o songs and 'plugged' to the audience who choose one to become the 'musical of the day'. And so my Musical Theatre career expands to include 'Author' for the song title 'Fossils Are The Future', a calypso-style number in the show 'Climate Strange' - a story of friendship, greed and how to work out if a substance is oil (hint: put it in a lawnmower and see if it starts). Such fun to see my suggestion brought to life by the talented cast and amazing pianist John. The show runs for another week as part of Melbourne International Comedy Festival

01.01.2022 Rik Brown has a habit of taking the first pitch each night at Spo Bro. These songs are all good but the audience go with the last few songs they hear so he rarely gets a songs up for the musical. Last night however he went last and delivered this pearler, which surprise, surprise, was the audience pick and became the musical. Look out for the full musical soon on Youtube. In the meantime here is MAYONAISE IS NOT AN INSTRUMENT from the musical PUT A FORK IN YOUR ORCHESTRA. https://youtu.be/Wn770hTrpTI
01.01.2022 Here's how we kick off the show and then it's all impro all the way. Weekend matinees at 4.45pm selling fast! https://www.eventfinda.com.au//spontaneo/melbourne/tickets
