21.01.2022 Reminder for Victorian Border Zone Residents Sporties Barooga remains open to border zone residents! The Victorian Government have established a ‘border bubble’ allowing residents of the Victorian and New South Wales border to travel freely within this zone to go about their daily lives.... Victorian border zone residents include any person residing in the following Local government areas; Alpine, Benalla, Bendigo, Buloke, Campaspe, East Gippsland, Gannawarra, Indigo, Loddon, Mildura, Moira, Shepparton, Swan Hill, Towong, Wangaratta, Wodonga & Yarriambiack. Residents in these regions are permitted to travel for daily life (hospitality, sport & entertainment) into adjacent New South Wales Border Communities. When travelling back to Victoria from Barooga, a government issued photo ID with proof or residence (eg. Drivers License) will be all that is necessary to re-enter Victoria at the border check point. Only condition for Victorian guests is the need to apply for a permit to re-enter Victoria after your visit.
