18.01.2022 With temperatures set to soar over the next couple of days, we all need to take extra care of ourselves and others...especially when it comes to being active If you plan on exercising make sure you take appropriate steps to do this safely: Stay hydrated Rest in a shaded area... 08.01.2022 Recent research shows that face to face education programs on concussion for parents and coaches not only increases their knowledge of concussion but may also reduce negative health outcomes for youth athletes (i.e., number of head impacts and concussions) (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7216205/). Hence the importance of attending our Community Concussion Forums across South Australia over the next 12 months. The first two locked in are at The Lights Community... and Sports Centre and Central Oval, Port Augusta.
