08.01.2022 Today, it is with the greatest of pride and excitment that I annouce that Sports Community has become part of the Belgravia Leisure group. As a 20 year old I became secretary of the Mt Martha Cricket Club. I had no idea what I was doing and no where really to turn for help. This was the start of the Sports Community journey. Our vision, to help every volunteer in Australia do amazing things hasn't changed, our team (including me) not only stay together but will grow.... The only difference is we now have the support and backing of every person within Belgravia Leisure. Now we can turn our dreams and vision into reality. I can't tell you how exciting this is. Thank you to everybody who has been on this journey from the start, to our investors without whom Sports Community would never have happened, to all our amazing staff who took a dream and made it their own, to our partners in sport, government and universities who took a risk on us to do something nobody had ever done before and to my amazingly patient wife whose support has been unwaivering through a journey she had little choice in taking. For so many reasons I can't wait for 2021. Steve Pallas CEO - Sports Community https://sportscommunity.com.au/sports-community-partners-w/
