Our meeting space can accept up to 20 people / or when broken into 2 separate rooms can take 12 people in one room, and 8 in the other. Both rooms have their own Smart TV's available at no charge. 09.01.2022 The Queensland Ambulance Service has rolled out a new Mechanical Chest Compression Device that assists paramedics in delivering effective, consistent, continuou...s compression's for patients in cardiac arrest. These devices allow cardiac compression's to be delivered safely in a moving ambulance, resulting in no interruption to patient care, a safer working environment for paramedics and ultimately increasing the survival rates for patients who suffer an out of hospital cardiac arrest. With the first stage of training now underway, these devices will be on the road in the coming weeks.

07.01.2022 GREAT NEWS: NEW DEFIBRILLATOR @ SPORTS HOUSE VARSITY LAKES: Thanks to our very own Community Bank - Bendigo Bank Varsity Lakes - we now have a new Defibrillator installed downstairs for use by all Sports House Stakeholder clubs and their members. The reason it has been installed 'Inside' the building rather than 'outside', is due to Gold Coast City Council regulations which do not permit us to attach it in a public area. This is another reason why the bathroom access door re...mains closed at all times - accessible with a PIN code. We would like to thank Adam Robson (Manager), Duane Williams (Board Chairman) as well as the Board of Directors and Branch Team at Bendigo Bank Varsity Lakes for this initiative to help keep Sports House Stakeholders, Members and Visitors safe. It is an expensive piece of equipment, and one we dearly hope we do not have to use, but we greatly value their investment in our community.
