24.01.2022 Christmas Update. Huge changes to our new Dojo, many thanks to the team of people who drop in to help regularly. Front looks brand new, as the entry takes shape, many thanks to Paris, Hamish, Kelly and Allan, who made a huge effort before Christmas.... The inside is secure, many thanks to Martin Busk installing the Safety/Security bars across the glass doors. Tomorrow we sand and paint the inside front wall. Then more security grills, mirrors up, signs up, equipment installation, a good clean and mats down for Tuesday January 5th. It's been a mammoth effort by everyone, especially Sensei Paris, here everyday. The new Dojo, will be our proud home in 2021, it is shaping up to be a huge upgrade from Fox Street. As much as I will miss the place. I look forward to welcoming you all to training at the new dojo. Kyoshi Rene Roggeveen

23.01.2022 Our own Jon Bastow, exceeded all expectations to win the Bronze Medal, in a closely fought final battle with our own Shaun Daffy. Both men fought extremely well Jon taking the honours. Congratulations Jon.

18.01.2022 I had the privilege of Coaching two girls from Toowoomba yesterday, my good friend Mike Jordan Shihan unable to attend, asked me to assist his athletes. Both girls responded well to my input, Scarlet receiving Medal a Bronze and Alex (pictured) a Bronze in the Kyu and then a Gold in the Blackbelts. In the Blackbelts, after analysing her performance and making an appropriate plan Alex beat the girl who won the kyus, and went on to win the division.... Congratulations Mike two fine, strong young competitors, both a credit to you and an honour to coach.

08.01.2022 New Dojo taking shape 5 Days in! 5 days left to be ready for our first class Tuesday 15th December at 4pm. Many thanks to Paris Botella Sensei, Scott Feige Sensei, Marin Busk Sensei, Kelly Lavelle, Hamish Lavelle, Mr Galletly and Mr Allan Harvey for tireless assistance over the pastb5 days.... A thanks to to.thr many volunteers coming this weekend. You are making our transition seamless. The only casualty so far is my aching back, splinter filled hands.
