The successful candidate will form part of a team of massage therapists working across multiple clinics and will have the following on offer: Great earning potential Work in a truly integrated sports and spinal clinic. Huge variety in very busy clinics Fun, professional, team environment Ongoing in-services/tutorials/workshops and other professional development opportunities Clinic locations: Alexandria, Double Bay, Drummoyne & Sydney CBD Wide range of clientele You must be prepared to work as part of our highly motivated massage team that has a heavy focus on consistently delivering high-quality, evidence-based service within multidisciplinary clinics. You must be able to liaise and refer confidently with other health care professionals, both written and verbally and take instruction from colleagues to affect appropriate management of our valued clientele. Applicants MUST have: Minimum of Diploma level qualification Association membership with a reputable association eg. NOTE: The only cancelled services during this short lockdown are pilates & group exercise classes. As an essential service, we are required to continue consulting with & treating clients, in a COVID-safe way, to help manage health concerns of Australians. The advice is that normal in-person treatment should definitely continue where possible & safe. If that option isn’t possible, a virtual consultation using phone or video is the next best option that should be used. We’re here to help! 25.01.2022 Meet Physiotherapist - Simon Hall Simon is one of only three Physios that make up our experienced team at the Newtown Sports Lab clinic at The Fitness Playground. Simon has worked in private practice since 2014 after graduating with honours from the University of Sydney. He enjoys looking after all types of musculoskeletal complaints with an interest in sporting injuries and in particular injuries to the shoulder and knee. Simon has a sports and rehab focus and enjoys being ...able to incorporate the gym facility at our Newtown location for recovery of function and strength as part of injury rehabilitation. In addition to hands on treatment, rehab, and exercise prescription, Simon is also skilled in dry needling. Simon has worked for the Football Association, the NPL, and is currently involved with the Sydney University Australian National Football Club at NEAFL and Premier Division Australian Rules (AFL) - see pics! Simon has a long history of playing AFL and basketball competitively and still plays basketball socially plus personally enjoys swimming and weight training to keep fit. An interesting fact about Simon is that he was in the opening ceremony for the Sydney paralympics and his guilty pleasure is watching trashy tv shows (which provides amusing conversations around the clinic!) With one leg. And cancer. 26 miles a day, every day, until he had crossed the expanse of Canada. He made it an amazing 120+ days in a row, 3339 miles, before his cancer returned.
