17.01.2022 As a coach seeing a PB is always rewarding and also slightly nerve racking thinking if the program worked well, if the sessions in the gym, sand track, court were enough to see quality gains and enjoyment from athletes and clients. At SportSpeed this is what we do and love doing it. Photo credit @gregbowman

16.01.2022 Train Against the Grain Soft Sand training is 1.4 times more energy demanding than training on other surfaces such as grass. Get the most out of your time with the benefits of less stress on joints. Sand Training is an excellent way to stress the total body, especially the lower muscle groups. Adjusting to the soft unstable sandy surfaces forces you to switch on all receptors increasing muscle strength, balance and core strength.Improve your playing speed, speed endurance, protects you from injury and increases mental toughness.

15.01.2022 Ask any Physio and they will tell you learning to run with proper technique no matter what sport or how many fast twitch muscles god gave you will reduce your chances of injury, keep you playing the game you love longer and perform better. Hugh McIntosh @bondi_barefoot contact our team @sportspeedpi for some tips and session details

14.01.2022 ...ARM ACTION FOR SPORT.... Arm action for sport is often overlooked. Technique doesn’t have to be perfect but the faster the arms move the faster the legs will move. The shoulders and hands should be relaxed and placed in a 90-degree position. Only the shoulders should move. The shoulder should act as a sort of hinge and should move the arms in a semi circular motion bringing the hands from the side of the face to the rear of the hip (cheek to cheek).

14.01.2022 Allot of people think sprint training is just for people who are naturally fast but this couldntbe further from the truth. Cancel your fad45 class and mix it up.. Check out this article https://shar.es/a0eF5Y
