25.01.2022 Well, well, well... last night was slightly unfortunate for the mighty Crows fans as the boys suffered a loss against the Geelong Cats. It seems that Geelongs new recruits Gary Rohan, Gryan Miers and Charlie Constable, to name a few, worked their magic and aided in securing a 24-point win over the red, blue and gold boys. Its not all bad news for Adelaide though, with Paul Seedsman reported to have narrowly avoided a season-ending ACL injury. Heres hoping for his speedy recovery and to see him back in the game in no time! Its safe to say that Adelaide might be hanging their heads today, but for our Geelong-born head physiotherapist Michael, its smiles all round! Well see if thats the case when the two teams meet again.

22.01.2022 INTRODUCING ANOTHER ONE OF OUR SENIOR PHYSIOTHERAPISTS... Donny joined SportsPhysioSA after much coaxing from Michael, who worked with him shortly after he started practice in 2011 (after completing a sports science degree and then a Masters in Physiotherapy). Donny is an excellent physiotherapist and is a welcome addition to the team.... Since graduating, Donny has worked in private practice, being mentored initially by Michael and subsequently by other well-respected Physiotherapists who have helped Donny hone his skills to give patients the best care possible. Donnys past experiences include being the Head Physiotherapist for SANFL teams: South Adelaide and North Adelaide. Currently, Donny is the Physiotherapist for the U18 State Womens Basketball team. His work with high-level athletes has equipped Donny with the skills to manage difficult injuries and minimise time away from the game. In 2017, Donny travelled to the UK to further his physiotherapy experience where he worked in the public health system. He worked with patients suffering from chronic pain syndromes and now has a special interest and a growing understanding of the complexities and management strategies for this difficult and challenging problem. His other clinical interests include benign positional vertigo and hip & knee rehabilitation. Outside of work, Donny enjoys spending time at the gym and loves everything to do with the English Premier League: hes an avid Manchester United supporter so he isnt perfect! If you want to book an appointment to see Donny, feel free to do so via the "Book Online" option at http://sportsphysiosa.com.au :)
