21.01.2022 Hi, I’m Dani and I am the face behind The Tanning Room. Having recently opened my spray tanning studio I thought it was time to introduce myself and how I entered into the world of safe sunless tanning.... Growing up in beautiful sunny Australia meant I spent as much time as possible outside enjoying the environment. The consequence of too much time in the harsh Aussie sun resulted in later years permanent sun damage. The only safe way I could tan without the harmful UV rays from the sun was to apply self tan. In 2004 I discovered spray tanning which was a game changer in the sunless industry. The result was an even, flawless application all in a matter of 20 minutes. It was easy, safe, no mess no fuss and I could get it all year round. I decided to train and became a certified Spray Tan Technician. Since then I have been passionate about spray tanning, a perfectionist at heart, and am always trialling new products in the market to make sure that I am giving my clients the best spray tan possible. The Tanning Room, located at Dolans Bay is a personal, private and clean studio in a quiet area with plenty of parking. Working from my home studio gives me the flexibility with appointment times especially for clients who have busy schedules. And for those of you who have little ones , you can feel comfortable to bring them along to my studio. I have seen every body shape and size, every scar, stretch mark and wobbly bits that we all want to hide. There is nothing more rewarding than giving clients a boost of body confidence and a radiant glow. Everybody deserves to feel amazing and that is my aim for every client when they leave my studio. The right picture is a few days after my spray tan) I have a natural yellow, gold tinge to my skin. If you are a *cool undertone you have a pinky, reddish tinge. If you’re not moisturising daily then you aren’t taking care of your tan.
