24.01.2022 Having goals are great. But, without a reason for achieving them, it’s so easy to fall off trackthat’s why I start and finish my day by thinking about my WHY for pursuing this business: I want to be able to spend more time with my kids and have the freedom to take a vacation without getting approval from a boss (Go away Covid). I also love supporting others to achieve their goals. Even when I run into challenges (because they happen with any business) thinking about this ‘why’ keeps me focused and encouraged. I also love seeing evidence of how it’s possible by watching my students grow and follow their own dreams. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

17.01.2022 The Coronavirus is hurting business, especially small business and I believe that we can minimise this by adopting a smart and realistic mindset rather than a panicked one that can bring down our economy.in my opinion, needlessly. The answer is NOT to stop going to our service providers if we are healthy but to not go if we are a potential risk. If everyone adopted this thinking, we may even survive economically with minimal business losses. A lot of small business owners... are not geared up for such massive losses of business and if were not careful, our much loved and favourite salons, restaurants, retail stores and other consumer-facing industries may not be there when this is over. And this, of course, would mean that many will lose their jobs. Our country is built on small business and this is a time to take care of our own because we can. Please think twice before cancelling an appointment or reservation. Find out what the business is doing towards stepping up to precautionary hygiene standards. 08.01.2022 These past few weeks have been nothing short of amazing for me. Launching new products, coaching spray tanning artist, working on my business and of course celebrating Fathers Day and spending time with family. Amazingly busy. I realised all too often we look at our days and think to ourselves we don't have enough hours in the day. When really what we need, is to focus on how we spend those hours. Here's what I find true;... There is always enough time for learning something new. Reading a book, more cuddles with the kids, working on that website. Lending a helping hand tosomeone and encouraging them. Offering support. There's plenty of time for a good conversation. Chasing new ideas and dreams and creating what inspires us. There's time to teach, and lots of time to learn. There's always time for doing good, but it will always fall on our shoulders to make the time for what we truly want.At the end of the day, we have to decide how we spend our days. And you know what? I'd be lying if I told you that I don't hit the bed at the end of the day feeling exhausted from everything BUT, I also get to fall asleep with a smile on my face and eager for the next sunrise to do it all over again. When you are your own boss no one tells you how to spend your hours. Its up to you to use your time wisely. Wether its working on your business or working on yourself, take the time, to make time, for the things that matter most.
