19.01.2022 Hi Everyone, please see below for the announcement from Transport Tas about L1 licence holders L2 Driver Licence Application You are no longer required to sit the L2 Driving Assessment - You can apply to progress to the next licensing stage (L2) by simply filling in our online form. To apply you must meet the following criteria:... You have completed a minimum period of three consecutive months on your L1 learner licence Your learner licence is current You are not currently disqualified from driving Your learner licence is not currently suspended You will be required to provide a brief statement on your practical driving experience as an L1 licence holder. You will be notified electronically when your application has been approved and you will receive the L2 licence card in the mail free of charge. It is strongly recommended you complete 80 supervised driving hours in a logbook, including 15 at night . 13.01.2022 A school safety reminder ... If you see kids waiting to cross the road at a flagged school crossing- stop and let them cross the road. Not every crossing has a crossing guard but you still have to stop.

12.01.2022 It's Road Safety Week - Working towards Zero Each day this week we'll be posting the finalists in the RSAC Road Safety Week competition, where 16 - 19 year old...s were asked to make a 30 second road safety video. Attached is the submission from finalist number 1. The winner of the competition will be announced next week.
