25.01.2022 Corona look of the day: or I’m joining the call led by #BlackArtists to diversify the fashion industry by doing the #VogueChallenge! Laying on a silver blanket ...on our bed, @sarapalmer4747 shot looking down of me in a sequined and see-through black dress. People wonder how I make fashion work: creativity and a usually the help of my kick ass creative mom altering the harder fits! This dress required duct tape to keep form fitting on top. My #ClitorisPendant is placed near my breast that has my hand placed over the nipple, for internet sanctity and all. My lips are red and smile is as seductive as one can get in yoga pose that attempts to show off my fist successful #EyelinerWings and #Magicicada earrings! The word in large bold font reads VOGUE with similar white font reading Crip Sex Justice and Practicing Pleasure with Sexpert @disabethany. Taking the lead from fabulous little women in my world, @drupresta and @samantharenke, I joined in making a Vogue cover for #OOTD. Following the advice of @crutches_and_spice to get into hot conversations, here I’m echoing these fab voices to scream we need more types of bodies represented as beautiful and healthy in media and our minds! Body liberation is feed through generative community connections, like the ones I share with comrades the LGBT queersexual movement, and most deeply with fellow #crips, disabled, Deaf, and #neurodivergent folks. @cripcampfilm virtual feeds me so much! I try to pass on disability joy to liberate what we think bodies deserve and can deliver pleasure. Exploring pleasures outside sole genital focus really makes me squeal! When students tell me they continue to use breathing to have mindful pleasure, I feel I’m helping decolonize sexuality. Divesting ableism, racism, transphobia, fatphobia, xenophobia and more are NECESSARY for sexual liberation. Radical sexual politics and realistic representation require more types of bodies shown as beautiful; so here I am, eat me up for up for #ThirstyThursday. #pandemicfashion #covidart #voguechallenge #ableism #thisiswhatdisabilitylookslike #disability #coronaeugenics #fuckeugenics #lovedisability #loveisresistence
