14.01.2022 I recently met with a mother and discussed the benefits of mindfulness to assist her child in better managing their emotions. I informed her of the wonderful Smiling Mind app you can download for free that can be of great use for children and adults alike. She has since reported much success in using this app, particularly when playing a track to her daughter to help her settle at bed time. I have included in this post a link to an article on the Smiling Mind website written... by Jo Stanley, a well known Melbourne comedian who discusses her own experience with childhood anxiety, and how mindfulness practices for children is now helping her daughter manage her anxiety. 12.01.2022 A helpful adaption of the circle of control with regards to COVID -19. We may have concern for the outer area of the circle but need to acknowledge our limited influence with regards to certain situations. I hope this can help in some small way to reduce anxiety during this difficult time. SpringboardPerth Team.
