22.01.2022 This year September got five weeks, So, It's Toastmasters week for us again. Meeting tonight at YMCA, 53 Springfield Lakes Boulevard, Springfield Lakes, from 7pm for a 7:30pm start. All are welcome!

19.01.2022 During our Xmas break up meeting, we had a Let’s go shopping segment which is designed to test out our memory. This is an overview map of the presents we each ‘bought’. Feel free to spend time analysing each present. You will find it somewhat interesting how a member's chosen present had an influence on the next. And some with no link at all. Things got interesting nearing the end of the 2nd cycle. If we had gone through a 3rd cycle, it would have been amusing but quite cha...otic. On a final note, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a peaceful ending to 2020. (Thanks Thomas for putting this together ) See you all in 2021

14.01.2022 Another great meeting tonight. Some challenging table topics, 2 great speeches and 4 very insightful and high quality evaluations. Word of the night was ‘GARRULOUS’ which is very fitting for Toastmasters - look it up to find the definition. If you would like to learn more about what we do or would like to come along and see what we do just send us a message. We would love to have you visit. We are currently meeting online via Zoom but hoping to go back face to face soon. Stay tuned for any updates. Next meeting is in 2 weeks.

14.01.2022 Martin won the Area 11 Humorous contest and Warren won the Area 11 International contest. Last Tuesday night our Area11 Director Geoff presented Martin and Warren with their trophies.

12.01.2022 What a fantastic meeting tonight!!! #Humorousspeechcontest was held today evening. Everyone found it as a treat because Mark and Alex did a hilarious speech and made everybody #ROFL. Well done Mark!! At last, he was announced as the winner of the speech contest.

11.01.2022 Tonight we had our second group meeting using Zoom. It is great to see so many club members joining in. The meeting ran smoothly and was enjoyed by all. We also had some great achievements this meeting: Duval Longa completed his Ice Breaker (first) speech - fantastic job Duval! We also saw two of our members complete the educational tracks they were working on:... Mugunth Subramanian finished his Competent Communicator and Mark Edginton achieved his Competent Leader. Well done gentlemen! With this meeting over, we now have two weeks to wait till our next meeting. Message us if you'd like to attend, it really is a great experience, whether at the club or using Zoom. Till next time...
