17.01.2022 Crowned at Kings Cross in 1924 as the Queen of Bohemia, Dulcie Deamer, a local eccentric party girl, actress, writer, gymnast and feminist made her social debut at an raging all night jazz party. This was the same year Springfield by Sydney Lodges was built. Springfield in the 1920's became quite the party venue and Dulcie became the performer, her best party trick included 'the splits' on the dance floor which she went on to perform at countless apartment parties in Kings Cross over the next 10 years.
