09.01.2022 You gotta love when you take the safe option and it doesn't work out for you. It makes you wish you had of taken on the miracle shot in the first place. Tag a mate who will never try to play conservative golf course management.

09.01.2022 Proposed New Rule Change for golfers Age 65+in 2021. Would you add this to your golf rules? Rule 9k.34 If a tree is between the ball and the hole, and the tree is deemed to be younger than the player hitting the ball, then the ball can be moved without penalty. This is so, because when the player was younger, the tree was not actually there so the player is being penalized because of his age.

08.01.2022 Matt and the team at landscape solutions have done a great job since March working on the golf course, we have a long term course improvement plan which ramps up in 2021. Regular course maintenance is essential, which includes monthly green renovations, scheduled coring and sanding the greens. Remember the ground-staff always have right of way while they are out on the course, if they are working in front of you please wait until they acknowledge you and or wave you on.

04.01.2022 My New Years resolution is to look after the lovely grassland white ball playgrounds we call golf courses. Here is a reminder video on how to repair divots and pitch marks. Unfortunately we are still not in a position to supply sand buckets as it is not possible to safely and accurately control and separate the used ones from the cleaned & sanitized ones. Since sand-buckets and rakes are still considered shared equipment we can not provide them as part of the golf Australia ...return to play regulations. However if you have purchased your own sand bucket or have one from home then please sand and repair your divots and as many others as you see out on the course, we have plenty of large sand dispensing vessels around to keep topping them up. If you don't have your own sand-bucket then please work on the old fashion golf principle of: "if you dig a hole and remove some turf, then simply find it and put it back where it came from" If we all do this then we can keep the playing surfaces at their best.
