24.01.2022 Fathers Day is tomorrow, Sunday September 6th. Here are some ideas of how you can help celebrate Fathers Day from home during lockdown: Get dad breakfast in bed or make him a special lunch... Have a picnic in the backyard or lounge room Cook his favourite meal (together or surprise him) Participate in a "virtual" visit Go for a bike ride or a walk (stay within your 5 km zone!) Play a board game or do a puzzle Watch a movie together Dance together - practise some traditional dancing or create some modern dance moves Dress up and put on a concert or a performance Make him a homemade card or gift Build/create something together Play some sport together in your background or on a gaming console Take a Virtual Tour online (eg, visit a Zoo or a Museum) Use the link below to help you with making something special https://www.freepik.com//happy-father-s-day-with-dad-child And dont forget to share photos with us in the comments.

21.01.2022 Today is R E M E M B E R A N C E D A Y. At the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month in the year 1918, the guns of the Western Front fell silent after more than four years of continuous warfare. World War I (WWI) had ended. Today our students paused for a minutes silence at 11:00am and honoured those who have fallen in times of war. The City of Greater Dandenong also conducted their annual Remembrance Day service; but this year it was a virtual event. ... Lest We Forget.
20.01.2022 When she was growing up our Assistant Principal Miss Jamar would always have big family lunches for Fathers Day. She - and her brothers - would make her dad cards ( as he always preferred homemade gifts) and then her dad would choose a movie for the family to watch after dinner. (Apparently he loves a good movie!) Yesterday, Ms Jamar caught up with her dad on FaceTime as her family live in Adelaide. She is looking forward to visiting soon once the borders are open so she can catch up on lots of family hugs and home cooked food.

The safety commissioner also has a range of resources that are designed to educate and help support communities deal with the ever-changing online environment that our children are navigating. We encourage you to explore this resource and reach out if you would like any further support for you family.

11.01.2022 Yesterday our Principal Mrs Debbie Cottier wished her dad a great big heartfelt Happy Fathers Day on the phone as her parents live over five hours away in country Victoria. She remembers that when she was little, Fathers Day cards or Fathers Day gifts always had something to do with the Sydney Swans (or, as they were called back then South Melbourne) AFL football team. Mrs Cottier has great memories of watching the Swans finally win a Grand Final with her dad. She is looking forward to giving her dad a hug and driving around the paddocks with him.
