Given the COVID19 situation around the world, being in Australia, we truly are living in the lucky country! Join us as we celebrate over the next weeks, our achievements and hard work that keep us all together as a caring and resilient community. 23.01.2022 Dear Customers, As of this week, on top of our entrance door temperature checks and compulsory masks/shields conditions, we have now commenced a DEEP CLEAN regime of the Centre every 10 days. This is to ensure all surfaces and spaces harder to reach or wipe are disinfected with COVID19 grade sanitiser. The recommendation is that the sanitiser we use is good for a month but we will be doing every 10 days for maximum effectiveness. Kiddies rides, vending machines, the ATM, all ...railings, shop fronts, toilets and the general areas are now DEEP CLEAN sanitised. We are working continually to ensure your protection and that of store staff every day and look forward to serving you and your family’s safely. 23.01.2022 ZERO COVID NEW CASES TODAY IN VICTORIA!!! Hooray! After several days of misinformation, we are back to normal now although doubly aware of how quickly COVID19 panic can be set off. You can rest assured that even though we were not compomised by COVID 19 we have engaged in a thorough deep clean of all areas of the Centre to ensure the safety of all. Be aware that listing on the DHHS website highlight stores and busineses that have come into contact with COVID19 persons; they M...AY NOT have any cases! When the DHHS finds these possible places, they contact them an , as you know, stores deep clean. You can feel safe knowing this. 19.01.2022 Just so everybody is clear, SPRINGVALE SHOPPING CENTRE is a stand alone Centre on the West Side of Buckingham Avenue. It has nothing to do with Springvale Plaza or Springvale Central which are independant operations over the road from us. There is a lot of misinformation and misleading statements caused by the volatility of the COVID 19 pandemic. Although this Centre was named by the DHHS, it used our name as a generic location for all of Springvale. We sort specific store names from them and late yesterday they wrote to us to confirm they had INCORRECTLY named us as a COVID hotspot. (See email posted last night) We are working with them now to get the incorrect information removed from their website.

18.01.2022 SPRINGVALE SHOPPING CENTRE has had a positive impact on COVID19 as reported on Page 2 of this weeks Star Journal. Customers to the Centre have been coming back in droves since we started temperature testing. Plenty of Parking and friendly service. Along side free hand sanitisers at every entrance, social distancing guidlines, video information and extra cleaners sanitising surfaces constantly, you can shop at Spring Shopping Centre with confidence as we are one of Melbournes cleanest retail premises!

18.01.2022 3PM Update - FINALLY A CORRECTION. You will find we are no longer on the DHHS website. For all those who were concerned about the posting, you can now rest assured Springvale Shopping Centre is COVID clear. Thank you all for your support through this confusing and frustrating time.

17.01.2022 Now that Winter is here and there has been some relaxation of the COVID19 restrictions we are bringing a bit of sunshine back into your life! All stores are now open and restaurants have takeaway and dine in again (with number restrictions) So get on down to your local, come in from the cold to WINTER GOLD at Springvale Shopping Centre.

16.01.2022 Some good news for a change! The Salvos have thanked the Asian community and Springvale Shopping Centre for their support and donations during the Bushfire Appeal and the Coronavirus Pandemic. Good work everyone!

16.01.2022 New CONDITIONS OF ENTRY took effect last week at the Centre. Besides mandatory temperature checks at the door, it is a Condition Of Entry that everyone must be wearing a proper surgical facemask or face shield (as detailed below) to gain entry. Scarfs, handkerchiefs and bandanas are not acceptable facewear to gain access into this shopping Centre. This decision has been taken to ensure the highest level of COVID19 safety is maintained for all shoppers and staff alike.... Please work with us to make this is a safer place and wear correct face protection whenever you shop here.

16.01.2022 Today the Springvale Shopping Centre dodged a big one. The DHHS informed us late last night that someone with COVID19 had visited the shopping Centre . . . a false alarm! This would have required all stores to be deep cleaned, staff tested and quarantined and a lot of inconvenience to staff and customers. Later today, we received an official email from the DHHS telling us that it was not us! This was great news but we had already sent staff off to the testing Centres! We had ...carried out our normal DEEP CLEAN of the Centre the night before, as we do every 10 days, so we were on top of things. We just wanted to let you know how quickly things can change and thank you for doing your best to stay COVID SAFE. Wearing your mask everytime you come to the Centre, social distance and sanitise regularly to keep us all safe and free of COVID!

15.01.2022 The Next Step in Safety! Today the Centre launches mandatory temperature tests at all main entrances. We have changed out conditions of entry to help keep you and staff safe. 10.01.2022 WE'RE BACK!!!!! From tomorrow morning, Saturday July11, Temperature Scanning is back at the Centre. It will be a Condition of Entry from opening tomorrow to have your temperature taken at all entrances into the Centre. We are doing this to ensure your safety and that of staff to make this a safer place. Along with temperature checks, we will be encouraging the use of face masks and will have hand sanitiser at every entrance so you can cleanup before you enter. Social distanci...ng is also mandatory right throughout the Centre with floor markings and signage to help you keep appart. We are also embarking a system of deep cleaning every week from top to bottom of the Centre to again ensure your safety. More on that next week! Springvale Shopping Centre was one of the first Centres in Melbourne to offer you hand sanitiser stations, social distancing guidlines and temperature checking during the early days of the pandemic. The newly renovated and expanded KFL Supermarket has a full range to choose from and open to 7pm. Restuarants are back to Take-A-Way Only and offer a full range of convenient meals for you and your family for lunch and dinner. Gold Leaf Chinese Restaurant serve takeway right through to 8pm!
