01.01.2022 Influenza (flu) vaccination is the most important way to prevent the flu and its complications. Every vaccination counts and will help make sure we stay as healthy as possible during COVID-19. The government funds flu vaccines for: children under 5 years of age, or infants aged over 6 months... adults aged 65 years or older those who are pregnant Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islanders (aged 6 months or older) those with a medical condition which increases their risk of flu complications (aged 6 months or older). You will need a different type of flu vaccine depending on your age. Call ahead to your GP or Pharmacy to make sure they have adequate supply of the right flu vaccine for you.
