25.01.2022 Did you know... Uniting Kids Care provides a nutritious menu each day for all children. The menu is a 4 week rotating menu with a hot meal for lunch. Our menu is approved by Munch and Move to ensure our children receive their daily nutritional requirements.

20.01.2022 We really enjoyed re-connecting with the residents in the nursing home this morning via Zoom for NAIDOC Week. The children shared some of the Aboriginal song we have been learning with the Aboriginal residents. Both the residents and the children have really missed the networking and relationship building we had established over the last few years. We couldn't wipe the smile off their faces.

19.01.2022 Did you catch our 'Talk Like a Pirate Day' celebrations yesterday.... Huge shout out to all the staff who made the day so enjoyable and memorable for the children especially Jen in the kitchen who went above and beyond with the menu. Thanks also to Lauren for all the organising and coordination for the day.

13.01.2022 Uniting Kids Care value deeply their relationship with the residents at Springwood Uniting Nursing home. With COVID-19 and everyone's health and safety coming first we are really missing our regular visits up to the nursing home for music therapy, games and reading visits. Looking forward to visiting again very soon.

Throughout the week, we will have activities to encourage children to develop their love for reading and books. We have also planned special menus to reflect some of the books that we will read with the children throughout the week.
