25.01.2022 Help us raise funds for our local fire brigades and emergency service volunteers by donating at the event gates. Parking is available around the school and there is a large visitor parking area just behind the school, off Burns Road.
21.01.2022 One of the great local talent groups entertaining at our family fun day this year is the Zany Yare Youth Circus troupe. Come and talk to them about their fabulous circus workshops and maybe learn a skill or two
20.01.2022 The talented troupe from LKM Dance Studios will be performing in the morning at the Springwood Australia Day Festival. They'll be at the main stage and we are looking forward to seeing their amazing dance routines.
18.01.2022 Students from Unity Studios - Academic, Creative & Performing Arts Mentoring and Queen Bee Cazz will be at the Festival. Their interactive kids program starts at 10am on the main stage. (Tip:plenty of parking is available off Burns Road, behind Springwood Public School)
13.01.2022 Returning to the stage this year is Penny Dreadful - Band, a 4 piece band from Winmalee. The boys have been playing gigs from Katoomba to Newtown and recently released their first single ‘Plum Tree’.
13.01.2022 Acclaimed Blue Mountains author, Jodie McLeod will read her beautiful children's book, Leonard the Lyrebird at 11.30am in the Kids Corner.
12.01.2022 Following the official ceremony, we'll be entertained by Kaziah, a Blue Mountains indie/psychedelic rock band. Come along and support our local talents.

06.01.2022 The Springwood-Winmalee District Girl Guides will be conducting the flag raising ceremony during the official part of the event (1pm at the main stage). Visit them during the day at the Kids' Corner area - there will be face painting, slime making and much more...they will also demonstrate how to work together to set up a large bell tent.
05.01.2022 Ready..... set...... go! Kids can test their driving skills from just $5 at the Kids Cub Karts ring. Tickets and showbags are available from their stand.
04.01.2022 Our Kids' Corner will have activities throughout the day. Check out the slime making, Lego and craft activities from Build-A-Mind. Did you know that they have been approved as a Creative Kids provider and you can apply your voucher for their programs. Come and talk to them about the workshops they run throughout the year.
04.01.2022 Thursday afternoon we got very busy setting up the marquees for the main stage audience. Stage looks awesome!! Big thank you to Lucas, Joel and Joabe, best volunteers ever!!
