20.01.2022 Our super fun holiday clinic is back these April School Holidays! Run, jump, dribble and shoot some hoops with friends over our 2 day clinic planned and run by ...the same coaches who run our term-by-term Development Programs such as Girls Squad, Ball4All, IGNITE, and Aussie Hoops (They are also current or past rep players/coaches!). During this clinic the kids will work on their individual offence and defence skills, as well as team work, communication and fair play. We will end the clinic with an awesome round robin where the kids will have a chance to try their new skills and techniques against their friends and peers. Pla...yers can attend both Aussie Hoops and Pink Squad, and join U10s Mixed and Aussie Hoops Starter when they move to Purple Squad. After Purple Squad/Aussie Hopps All Star, players graduate to IGNITE Blaze, and our u12s/u14s women domestic competition. Girls participating in Purple Squad are also encouraged to attend Barrengarry Conference and Waratah Junior League Trials at the end of the year. This clinic is suitable for beginner, intermediate and advanced (representative) players between the ages of 5 and 12, who are looking to increase their skills and knowledge of basketball and have an amazing, competitive, encouraging day with friends full of achievement and laughter.... - Participants must bring their own water bottle, basketball, recess and lunch. - Participants must be dropped off at the door and signed in by a parent or guardian, the car park is a kiss and drop zone. - No parents, guardians or spectators will be permitted inside the stadium. - Participants will be asked to sanitise their hands and basketballs several times throughout the day. - Participants and coaches must maintain social distancing at all times. Register quickly, most clinics in the past have been up around 60 kids... but we have a maximum capacity of just 40 kids per day in line with our COVID-safe plan. Each session has a maximum capacity of just 30 participants. At this stage there will be no spectators allowed. Parents/carers will be expected to sign their child in and then exit the stadium. Payment will be made at the time of signing in. More information will be on the registration form which will open next weekend.

06.01.2022 U10s Mixed informal basketball competition is open for term 3 registration now! U10s Mixed is for our 7 - 9 year old girls and boys who are interested in transi...tioning from our skill development programs into competitive basketball. Players need to have attended at least one term of Aussie Hoops or Girls Squad before joining U10s Mixed to ensure they have the skills required to fully enjoy the game and make the most of each session. Players can trial for the Barrengarry Conference u12s development program and Waratah Junior Development positions from 8 years old. After U10s Mixed players will move into the u12s domestic competition and can attend IGNITE Blaze, and also trial for a representative team. 01.01.2022 TERM 3 2020 MEET AND GREETS FOR OUR U10s PROGRAMS Term 3 TinyHoopers, Aussie Hoopers, Pink and Purple Squad Girls, and U10s Mixed players and parents are invited to attend a free introduction and information afternoon on Saturday 18th July 2020. The aim of this session is to allow the kids to make friends and get to know their coaches before the official term and programs start, and to give parents and guardians an opportunity to ask questions and ensure their child is enroll...ed in the program that is suitable to their age and skill level. Children who are registered in multiple term 3 programs will have the opportunity to spend time with each group/coach. For our 5 - 10 years development sessions parents and guardians can not linger in the stadium due to COVID- safe procedures. TinyHOOPS parents/guardians must stay with their child. Children who are not registered in one of the named term 3 development sessions can not attend this session. Children must be registered in their program before attending.
