25.01.2022 Dear members and friends Reminder that ENROLMENT DAY is this coming Saturday 12 October at the Centre.(9am-12noon). You can also enrol online at www.springwoodarts.org Please note this is an amended timetable for Term 4, as Rose Gilbey is unable to tutor this term. The Friday class will get together but as a supportive, untutored group, at $5.00 per session. Hopefully we will welcome back Rose in 2020. If you have already enrolled in Rose's classes you will be entitled to a refund.

18.01.2022 Yesterday was last day of classes at SCAC for 2019. What a wonderful year it has been celebrating our 50 year history. 16.01.2022 Be sure to visit our treasurer, Grant Eyre’s exhibition at Braemar which starts this week and finishes on February 16th. Braemar is open Thursday to Sunday 10-4. All welcome at the official opening on Saturday 25th at 2pm.

16.01.2022 A MESSAGE FROM THE COMMITTEE Despite the lifting of some restrictions by the NSW Government effective as from Monday June 1, SCAC is NOT PERMITTED REOPEN.... This has been confirmed by the the COVID-19 specialist team through Service NSW Following government's advice we may be able resume in Term 3, albeit on a much reduced scale. However, we will review our position again in late June to determine whether that the dangers have eased sufficiently to allow us to economically provide the safe and practical environment taking into account group and social distancing rulings. We remain mindful that many of SCAC members are in the vulnerable, high risk category, so we must err on the side of caution. Alas, no winter workshops will be running We trust you have been keeping both safe and well and it remains so sad that we are not able to pursue our communal art.

02.01.2022 The rain is leaving so come into Springwood now and see this wonderful exhibition. Official opening at 2:00pm. Cover charge $5 applies from 1:00pm.

02.01.2022 Our #SketchClub meets on second and fourth Saturdays of each month, including school holidays. This activity will develop your eye in observation, drawing and painting of tone and line. This is a casual drop in session from 2pm to 4pm. Cost is $20 a visit. We have live models and provide boards and easels.
