21.01.2022 We were fortunate enough to receive a small grant from Blue Mountains Council to purchase another bush beehive for our preschool. It arrived by courier overnight and was unboxed today in the Wombat Room, before being placed in it’s home. We were also able to purchase some stories and information books about native bees. Thank you for your support Blue Mountains Council

14.01.2022 Our children have developed a growing interest in our country. We regularly engage in conversations about places, spaces, adventures and experiences of Australia. This week we have been recording our knowledge and experiences through drawings....if you look closely you can see a camel, snakes, insects, the bush, the ocean and much more.

13.01.2022 We play and learn on Gundungurra and Darug land. Each day through our Acknowledgement of Country we promise to look after the land, the people, and the animals. The Blue Mountains National Park is part of our community and having a playground with an abundance of trees, shrubs and natural materials attracts many animals. This gives the children plenty of opportunities to explore, investigate and deepen their knowledge and further build their respect and connection with nature.

10.01.2022 We play and learn on Dharug and Gundungurra country. An Aboriginal perspective is embedded into our program in many different ways. Recently we have been developing a greater understanding and interest in our local bird life.

10.01.2022 2021 children have been coming for visits recently, we love to see their excitement when they see our beautiful playground for the first time. The tunnel and slide certainly received "WOW"s. The grown ups loved the natural materials, the fruiting trees and the raised garden beds.

09.01.2022 In addition to this statement regarding Covid-19 Response measures, families must continue to check the Health Declaration every day prior to attending preschool. It is available from the front page of our website and updated daily.
