19.01.2022 Dr Gina was lucky enough to meet this little ball of fluff for her first vet visit. Sweet Luna is a dingo pup and will be back in shortly for her vaccinations. How cute is she!

17.01.2022 Don’t forget to keep your Tick control up to date! We had our first winter Paralysis Tick Case a few weeks ago. A good reminder to us all... KitKat was very lucky and is now home recovering well from her ordeal. Bravecto for Cats is one of a few options available, please call us if you have any questions regarding what products to use.

11.01.2022 Watch out, ticks are about! Unfortunately tick season has definitely begun here at Springwood Veterinary Clinic. This week we have treated two cats for tick paralysis and this is our 5th case in 2 months. We expect to be seeing more ticks, including deadly paralysis ticks, in the coming months as the weather warms up. Remember to keep an eye on your pets, check their skin & coats for ticks and keep up to date with their flea & tick preventatives. ... 08.01.2022 We are now running our Puppy Pre-School Classes again, it is however with very limited numbers and regulations. This months class is full. The next class ( July 1st ) only has a few spots left, call us to book a place.

08.01.2022 Crowley came in for his 2nd puppy vaccination last week with Dr Arun. Crowley is a Neapolitan Mastiff and when he is fully grown will be about 70kg!!

06.01.2022 These gorgeous brothers were all rugged up in their matching coats this week in the cold Blue Mountains winter! How adorable are they. They were also very well behaved for their vaccinations and nail trims. Thanks for coming in Rocky and Tyson!

06.01.2022 Paralysis tick season is well and truely here. These ticks were pulled off three different patients in two days here at the clinic, all three were hospitalised and treated for tick paralysis. Unfortunately we have already had to treat 10 cases since July this year, already one away from our entire financial year last year!! It is very important to keep all of your pets up to date with their flea & tick prevention. ... Here we like to use Bravecto for both cats and dogs. Please call us on 4751 1888 to discuss options suitable for your pet.

05.01.2022 How cute is this little family that came to visit us this week for their check ups. Little Lucy is only 12 weeks old and already 15kg. Her big 3 legged brother is 50kg. With their golden retriever brother the owners like to call them an oreo!

Please take them to the front door during opening hours (8:30-6pm Monday-Friday and 8:30-12 on Saturday) Covid precautions are still in place so please wait outside and knock or call us on 4751 1888 to let us know you are there or if you have left them for us at the front door. ... 03.01.2022 In line with the new regulations we are asking that all clients wear a mask when bringing patients to the clinic. If you can please wait outside on the verandah and notify us when you arrive. The vet will then ask you to come in when they are ready. We are still just allowing one person per pet to come into the clinic.

02.01.2022 Leo, Theo & Jackson came to visit us for their first vaccinations (first picture) and their second vaccinations (second picture). They were able to stay awake through the whole consult this time!!
