02.01.2022 Got a bit muddy today! The job is to check the condition of a 24" Foot Valve in the dam. The suction line is 600mm in diameter and 50mt long! The little digger did alright! (With a little help from the Landcruiser and Winch) The pump system it feeds is a set of 3, 4 cylinder Cummins Diesel engines coupled to Southern Cross ISO Spec pumps. Day 2 is going to be pulling the whole suction line out with a 15 Ton Excavator and checking the foot valve!
