03.01.2022 End of an Era Start of a retail revolution There will be many a rumour, but the change is happening all around us and we have closed our doors suddenly to preserve the business image and what money we have left. Let the truth be known an independent retail business is only sustainable with community support. It is a fact the bridal and formalwear industry is a specialised industry and very service dependant, and although everybody loves the fix of the feel good retail the...rapy in a beautiful shop, less people are leaving substantial money behind. The other major influences are international internet sales and manufacturing of labels which comes back to price point. Eventually it affects everybody in the community no retailers, no staff, no advertising, no leasing, no taxes, no government funding. In closing we are blessed to have the support of family and will now be spending my overdue time with them.
