25.01.2022 Sqorz version 78.2 has been released, This version includes some nice improvements including: FOR REGISTRARS - Display transponder signal strength which helps when diagnosing loop/transponder/decoder problems - Controls for paper orientation (portrait/landscape) on the Reports screen. These settings can be saved so the app no longer has to ask every time a report is printed.... FOR EVERYONE - Our Sqorz now includes training events in the lists of upcoming and recent events. - Improved usability on various Series screens --- round by round breakdown of points earned --- ability to scroll horizontally --- zoom control to see more on mobile devices. 24.01.2022 Hi All, we're super excited to inform all Australian clubs and organisations using Sqorz that the latest version updates the member list automatically. We also encrypt the data to safeguard it so it cannot be read if it gets in the wrong hands. So there is no need to ever download the member list again . This should make things much eaasier for club registrars. The member list has all BMX riders including those on the old database and the new AusCycling database. It also now... contains our Mountain Biking cousins. Instructions on how to set this up are on Sqorz news in the new version. We have also added functionality for scanners to read the QR code on the new AusCycling Licences. If your scanner does not read the new codes we recommend the Datalogic QD2430 scanner, you can get them online. This scanner is well priced, good quality, reads from mobile phones and can also be left on for hands-free operation. As usual let us know if you have any questions.

21.01.2022 Hi All, we have had a number of customers reporting problems with Telstra in Australia today. In all cases switching to a non-Telstra service has resolved the problem. System monitoring has has not raised any issues and our testing has confirmed Sqorz is operating normally and accessible via ISPs except Telstra mobile.
21.01.2022 Follow-up to the Telstra issue reported yesterday. Whatever was done by Telstra has been undone all Sqorz products are accessible via the Telstra mobile network. Apologies for the inconvenience, we were as surprised as you when this happened.
21.01.2022 We have released a new version of Sqorz with an extra feature to show low transponder battery on Our Sqorz or My Sqorz. Riders should not get caught out with the battery failing in future. We used the downtime in racing to update the platform underpinning Sqorz. This is part of our commitment to ensure Sqorz software stays up to date. Remember Sqorz Training is free until end July. If you have riders on the track for coaching, gates or practice, open a Sqorz Training event to record times.

20.01.2022 Sqorz version 80.2 has just been released, it contains some new features including a couple of nice-to-have requests made by the UK some time ago. The most exciting item in this release is .... we now check transponder subscription with the MYLAPS database when riders look at their results, entry details, practice times in Our Sqorz. If the transponder subscription has expired or is just about to expire we offer the ability to renew the subscription there and then. Riders ca...n also check and renew their transponder subscription themselves here https://mylaps.sqorz.com/ Note: transponder still needs to be plugged into a computer to activate the new subscription nevertheless, it is a good timesaver and will reduce the number of riders presenting at events with expired transponders. The Live Results overlay shows names in bold to enhance readability. We have done some fine tuning to improve performance in Our Sqorz and also the App. The Competitors report and the Rank report now contain the following: Rider’s Team Number of riders in the class

If your riders want to get their PB times on the Sqorz Leaderboard then now is the time to set it up. 04.01.2022 Hi All, New Sqorz version 84.6 has some nice touches. You can now put your logo on Our Sqorz which looks really nice. Just do this on the Accounts > Services screen. A separate logo can also be associated with your Series (e.g. Sponsor’s logo).... It is now possible to construct Series with events from different organisations. For example, an inter club series or a State series where the events are hosted (in Sqorz) by different clubs. Continuing with the ongoing work to support AusCycling and build on the member database subscription Series will now automatically recognise riders whose license changes from BMXA to AusCycling during a series. There are many more cool things in the pipeline ...
