12.01.2022 Hi All! Due to the gas outage in Mount Gambier our pool temperature is currently sitting at 29.5 degrees. Lessons will still run for now and we will reevaluate if it drops further.

12.01.2022 SWIMMING INSTRUCTORS WANTED Above award wages paid An opportunity has opened for an experienced swimming instructor/s to join our team.... Swimming lessons at Squashbrook are unique and in demand with the following benefits for the right instructor. Indoor facilities with year round air temperature of 29 degrees and water temperature of 31 degrees, no wind, rain or freezing days to contend with. Small class sizes with only 1 class running at a time so you can keep the undivided attention of your students. A well supported team to bounce ideas off. A loyal clientele who return term after term so a bond can be made with their instructor which results in rewarding teaching. Possibility of other career pathways within Squashbrook including in and out of the pool. On going, year round employment for the right applicant. We are looking for instructors for week days (approx. 2-3 nights) and Sunday mornings. Applicants must hold a current Austswim Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety qualification or equivalent with Sunday mornings also needing ‘Austswim Infants and Preschool’ qualifications or equivalent. Applicants must also hold a current ‘Provide CPR’ certificate along with a Working with Children DCSI check. As mentioned pay rate is above award at the below rates. Weekday - $32 per hour Weekend - $42 per hour *Junior Pro-Rata Rates apply To apply please contact Caroline to obtain an application form at [email protected] . 10.01.2022 Swimming Lesson Update: We are taking things day by day but if your lesson is cancelled you will receive an SMS. Please note lessons are cancelled for tonight and Saturday (SMS already sent). A decision regarding Sunday’s lessons will be decided tomorrow.

09.01.2022 Lessons are all back to normal in super warm water from Monday!

09.01.2022 WOW!! We currently have 323 children enrolled in our swimming lessons for Term 4. Our biggest term to date! Last term we added 4 new classes on a Sunday and they filled within days. This term we have added an additional class which filled in a matter of hours! We have 1 space in our Level 1D class at 9am on Saturday left then we are at full capacity! If you would like to enrol your child into that class please email [email protected] (1st in best dressed) Ch...ild must be able to swim independently eyes in doggy paddle the width of our pool. EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST We are looking at adding an additional 9am Sunday baby class to our timetable. If your child is aged between 6mths-2 years old and you would like to get your child into lessons please email [email protected] (1st in best dressed) lessons begin 18th October for 9 weeks.

04.01.2022 Gas Outage Update... After trying the first lesson, we have decided that for swimmer comfort, it's best to cancel this morning's lessons. Even though this is completely out of our control, we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience.
