The Victorian Government want to hear ideas from a diverse range of young people, as well as organisations, parents/carers and community members. This is the start of an important public conversation. Consultation is open until 14 December 2020.... 12.01.2022 Vale Judith FitzGerald It is with great sadness that we inform the squash and racquetball community of the passing of Judith Louise FitzGerald (nee Tissot), who was not only a Champion Player on court, but a Champion and beautiful person off it as well. Judith FitzGerald was a beautiful, lovely lady remembered with great fondness and will be forever etched into the hearts and minds of those who knew and loved her. 11.01.2022 Rachael Grinham has been crowned the 2021 Gold Coast PSA Women's Champion after defeating Sarah Cardwell 3-0 in the final at Carrara on the Gold Coast on Sunday. The former World Number 1 and current World Number 29 from Queensland was at her brilliant best against the current World Number 57 and Victorian, winning the final in just 21-minutes. Squash has given me so much: many friends, many good times, good health, maintained my fitness, team spirit, a philosophy surrounding competitiveness and a network of good people as friends.... Squash has been the basis for many good friendships and many fun times. Most of the fond memories are of the social side associated with the sport. Brendan has experience in the public sector and has been a great supporter of Squash & Racquetball Victoria. Some of Brendan's highlights include... "Making new friendships during those great times Bob Finch, the late Susie Simcock, Ted Wallbutton etc. Watching Ian Kent chair the M2001 Management Committee during the years leading up to the Festival was worth a ticket.
