15.01.2022 Squeaky Dog's first tour has come to an end. The van has been emptied one last time and the troubadours have said their au revoirs. The Queen of Bingo performed at nine different venues with nine different performance spaces. Our cast and crew adapted admirably to each situation and the feedback has been overwhelming. Our company is well and truely established with a strong community spirit. Being a not-for-profit company we have relied on the goodwill of all cast and crew, t...ogether with companies such as Brad Yee at Yeeha Creations, Jesters Costume Hire, Stage Hire Sydney, Nitro Graphics, Hazelhurst Regional Art Gallery, and Lizzie Lodge who came on board at the last minute as our techie/roadie/chef! We have recently received several donations gifted to Squeaky Dog Theatre Company which will help us enormously with future productions. A huge thank you for your generosity. Our next production, The Shoehorn Sonata will commence in February 2017 at Hazelhurst Regional Gallery, followed by an interactive Murder Mystery mid 2017. Stay tuned- further info to follow shortly. Woof woof! See more

01.01.2022 Introducing the team... Lizs passion for theatre began at the ripe old age of seven after attending an acting course for children at NIDA in Sydney. She went on to study, under the guidance of John Orcsik and Tim Elston, at The Australian Playhouse Studio, TAPS, where she gained a Diploma in Acting. Following this Liz went on to play roles in Country Practice and GP. Liz has been an avid supporter of community theatre where she has performed numerous roles in productions at ...Riverside Theatre Parramatta and the Arts Theatre Cronulla, where she met Susan. Alongside Lizs acting career she is a Registered Nurse having worked at St. Vincents Hospital, Sydney, and more recently in Aged Care. It is in her role as a nurse that Liz has discovered the importance of live theatre and its vital relationship between creative expression and healthy ageing. Besides taking on acting roles with Squeaky Dog Theatre Company, Liz is the companies Production Manager. Susan, originally from the UK, commenced her theatrical career in operettas under the influence of her operatic parents. After appearing in various youth theatre productions Susan went on to study a degree in Contemporary Theatre in London which opened acting opportunities without the singing. Susan moved to Australia in 2000 with her family where she studied for a Master of Teaching (Drama) at Sydney University. Susan has trained as a director with Sydney director Kate Gaul. Susan has also completed a Certificate 111 in Live Production at NIDA. She has played leading roles in productions at the Arts Theatre Cronulla, where she met Liz, and at Riverside Parramatta. She has recently had a film role in The Daughter directed by Simon Stone. As a director, Susans portfolio includes several plays at the Arts Theatre Cronulla and with Squeaky Dog Theatre Company. Susan currently teaches Drama and Entertainment at a public high school, and its in her role as a drama teacher, and a tutor for the NSW Schools State Drama program, that she has developed a passion for drama education. Susan is Squeaky Dog Theatre Companys Artistic Director.

01.01.2022 Squeaky Dog Theatre Company Presents Private Lives by Noel Coward Directed by Susan Geldart... Private Lives is one of the most sophisticated, entertaining plays ever written. Elyot and Amanda, once married and now honeymooning with new spouses at the same hotel, meet by chance, reignite the old spark and impulsively elope. After days of being reunited, they again find their fiery romance alternating between passions of love and anger. Their aggrieved spouses appearar and a roundelay of affiliations ensues as the women first stick together, then apart, and new partnerships are formed. A uniquely humorous play.
