23.01.2022 Wow what a great week so far in Whyalla. The new Jetty has been a great draw card with visitors form all over the State coming for a look and walk. Everyone has loved our now totally Gluten Free food with some wonderful comments on how yummy it all tastes. We will be back at the Jetty Car Park today and Monday (Sunday will be closed due to predicted wet weather) from 11am. Cheers John and Heidi.

21.01.2022 Great last 2 days in Whyalla at the Footy Grand Finals. Friday night the a Junior and Senior Colts and yesterday for the Seniors. Congratulations to all the Premiers for 2020. 21.01.2022 Fun and fantastic night at the Gawler Greyhounds for the running of the Gawler Gold Cup. Love the dish kickers. Crispy seasoned Butterfish and chips were very popular.

19.01.2022 Great news Barossa. We finally have our new Food Vendors Permit from the Council and will be back at Kroemer Crossing from today. Our hours this week will be today, tomorrow, Thursday and Sunday from 11.30 - 3.00. Friday and Saturday will be too hot to operate due to heat from the fryers. It’s great to be back and looking forward to catching up with everyone.

17.01.2022 Being able to work outside and supply yummy squid to our customers is always enjoyable, however the downside is sometimes the weather. Today was one of those days when the winds were so strong and gusty it swirled around inside the van and kept blowing out the pilot light. After relighting at least a dozen times I realised that it was a fruitless excercise so closed up early. My apologies for anyone who came after I closed. Tomorrow is another day and hopefully will be better, the forecast is not favourable but will see how it goes. Cheers John

01.01.2022 Well it’s been a wonderful time in Whyalla over the last 6 weeks but it is time to return to the Barossa for a while but don’t worry we will back for the Peppercorn Market on the 8th November. We have thoroughly enjoyed our time coming home and the New Jetty is fantastic, a Credit to the Council, Government and GFG on creating such a unique tourist attraction.
