25.01.2022 Happy mothers day to all xxxx
25.01.2022 Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and hope in these strange times you all find fun, happiness and love
25.01.2022 via Australian War Memorial It's a little known fact that cats and even kittens accompanied men and women into the fields of battle, both at sea and on land. "W...ar cats" had two important roles: official mascot for the regiment, squadron or ship; and rat catcher, a less glamorous, though no less essential duty. But whether photographed as a mascot, working cat or adoptee - for often, in the field of battle, cats and kittens were adopted by troops - cats have performed another essential role: raising morale. With their amusing and affectionate behaviour, they helped remind men and women far from Australia of "normal" life, and the comforts of home. The British experience was very similar. As one of the curators of the Imperial War Museum said: It was probably something to do with holding on to a bit of normality... offering a bit of innocence in contrast to the horror around them. Because the one thing they couldnt blame for everything bad that was happening around them was an animal. (Paul Cornish, IWM) Read more about our furry recruits: http://bit.ly/2gtZkFk See more

23.01.2022 Hi everyone from Claire Higgins I am the Northern Beaches Council Emergency Management Support Officer. This quick note is to let you all know that Northern B...eaches Council is anticipating some owners of large animals to relocate tomorrow in preparation for Tuesdays catastrophic weather forecast. Council is working with RFS and DPI to facilitate this. Staging for large animals: For horses and other livestock, Frenchs Forest Showground and Pittwater Rugby Park may be used as emergency evacuation staging areas at any time. The amenities at these venues are simple thus we strongly encourage people to make alternative arrangements to stay with friends of family members where possible. If you evacuate to these venues and council staff are not yet on-site, please call customer service on 1300 434 434 for assistance. If an emergency evacuation centre is activated, pets will be welcome. You can bring your pets to emergency evacuation centres for assistance with accommodation and other services if you have no other alternative. Your animal will need to be contained by a cage or lead, and you will need to bring your pets medications and emergency kit with you. An emergency evacuation centres activation and venue is determined by the location and type of emergency and will be communicated by 702 ABC Emergency Radio. Keep your radio tuned into 702 ABC. 13.01.2022 Cloud and Reyne have been waiting patiently for their forever home. If you want unconditional love, laughter, contentment and loads of entertainment.......you need these 2. Must be indoors as Reyne (aka Wobbles) has very mild kitten wobbler syndrome. PM if interested.
13.01.2022 This video is of Sawyer back in 2017 when he first came to us. Unfortunately his owner has surrendered him back to us and we need to find him a loving forever family. He is still just as smoochy and adorable and has a lot of love to give. PM if interested.
12.01.2022 We have had one of the best days ever, our beloved Bagheera aka Baggie was finally found and is back home at the hospital. He is half his weight but otherwise ...ok. 5 months ago he went for a visit to Torrey Hills for 1 night but unfortunately escaped and has been missing ever since. We had sightings and tried to trap but it was never him. Until last night thanks to the amazing Anna Learmonth who had been keeping a look out for him the entire time and borrowed a trap last night and caught him. We cannot thank you enough you have made our year. We love you Baggie and are ecstatic that you are home safe and you will be so extra spoilt. See more
