17.01.2022 Today @dooksta and I were stoked to pick up our new boards from the legendary @dahlbergsurfboards For me this is my first new short board in over 3 years. My late brother use to shape my boards and since he left this world I’ve struggled in a lot of ways. My froth for riding waves was the weakest it has ever been. All of that is now about to change by riding a new board made by some one else. This is all part of the healing process, which I’m embracing to help me move forward. 13.01.2022 Over the last couple of days I have had the pleasure of creating this beautiful resting place for a hard working cane farmer and his wife. For me this one was a hard one from first contact with the client. I have lost both my mum and dad in the last two years. I looked at this project as part of the healing process for me whilst creating for some one else. The old farmer picked his spot before he left this life and while I was taking my photos I realised why. He is now at rest over seeing his son and grandson attend to the crops. 04.01.2022 I’ve been back in Byron over the last week or so working on a basalt bush rock wall for the good people @rodsironenconstructions It’s been a while since I laid basalt so was good to brush up.rubbed this one off the white board today and now ready for the mad dash to Xmas.
