But such a privilege to be trusted by Chaffey Bros for their launching campain... I loved every minuet of it. ... As you all may know, our industry is definitely one that is in hibernation at current. What a way to go out... (for now). Hope to have much love and support to get back up and running once this crazy business, we all face, is all over. See more

08.01.2022 I have not shared any of my current views or beliefs regarding 2020 current events on my business pages, due to respect that we can all passionately disagree. I have been tempted, as my business has been effected in a massive way. But I chose to not go there as I respect all my beautiful clients who really appreciate me as a human and a business. I find it such a low blow that someone would give me a one star non recommendation. I have never had this person as a client nor ...communicated with him before. He might not even be in the same state or continent. I believe this is a faceless attack from someone who has accessed my business page via my 'about me' info via a comment made, by myself, in this 2020 conversation online, that perhaps he did not agree with. Prior to this, I have always received 5 star reviews and have wonderful feedback from all my beautiful clients. This is not about the 5 stars, but about the faceless act of sabotage. I messaged this person, and he seems to have removed his review and blocked me. *edit: The review is still there, but by blocking me, I cant see it from my account, but can from another. Not cool at all!! * I am disgusted by some of the faceless threats and behaviour that I am seeing online. "He should take to her with his fists" was one comment re a lady not wearing her mask. Perhaps instead of facebook, this should be called faceless!!! My heart is heavy and sad as I watch humanity behave like little children. Please treat others with the same respect as you would wish to be treated. It is not wrong to disagree, but please do so with grace and kindness. It is not wrong to hold an opinion, but is it ok to communicate with putdowns and gaslighting all in the name of "It's my opinion and Im entitled to it"? There is always many "truths" , yours, mine, his/hers and then... the ultimate truth. Have a wonderful day. Thank you to all my beautiful clients over the years. X

08.01.2022 Ok... This is my opinion and thoughts, but Im just going to get my 2 cents out, please be kind. Im sharing my thoughts as our industry is taking a hit with this corona virus. Think musicians, caterers, magicians, you name it. (Try saying musicians - magicians really fast x 10). This is the harsh reality - certain small businesses are going to be hit hard. For some, this is how we pay our rent and feed our children. Now, I totally get we need to keep one another safe, but th...is is where Im seeing the chit chat blow up on social media. Thank goodness social media was a baby when swine flu hit! With all this social media chit chat Im reading in groups like 'southern suburbs' and the like, how hard and how long this industry takes a hit depends of separating the facts from the hysteria. So here goes: Now this is my researched (non phd level) understanding (please feel free to comment-but be nice :)) : The current measures are to s.l.o.w down the spread to protect our healthcare system from being overloaded beyond what it can cope with, not to eliminate it. It will run its course. We can not quarantine all of Australia, or the world. It WILL run its course. Some will show symptoms, some wont, but more than likely, we may be exposed at some point. The government would just rather we didn't all at once, as that would be a problem on our health care services. One health expert stated Italy had a very aged population (Mediterranean diet plug right there ) , so they have been hit to the extreme. We all have our own unique variables. Quality of sunlight and fresh air is another one. As an industry, we are going the extra mile to make sure we do our part to keep it 100% happy. We are adding extra preventative measures and policies. For now, our large events have been cancelled, but SquizART is still opperating for small birthday parties, hens and events. This may change, in which you may see my 'go fund me' page (just jokes...), but for now, this is where you guys, our private parties are our unsung heros!!! So thanks guys!!! I love every minute of meeting so many of you and getting to be a part of your special event. Thank you to all who have ever supported my business and craft!!! Xx

03.01.2022 Fun fact . 5 years ago today.... Together with my art school friends, we were lucky enough to have an aerosol class by the world renound aerosol artist JimmyC . Back 16 yrs ago in art school days, wow... Now i feel old... we had the privilege of having him fill in as one of our 2nd yr oil painting lecturers... Prob the only semester we actually learnt anything.... One day Id love to get into street art... But it will prob have to wait until I'm 40 and fabulous!!! For now... Forget squealing over pop stars... Give me street art any day!!!

01.01.2022 This might not be a popular opinion, and I might not be welcome for sharing it.... This is the first year I have publicly announced Im closed for all Halloween work. Previous years, I have quietly declined halloween gigs even though its our industries busiest and most profitable day. My reasons are my own and I dont cast judgment on anyone who chooses otherwise... And I ask the same respect in return. However, I do wonder why its so glamourous to celebrate death, gore..., blood, and all things scary on our children. It seems every year the boundaries are being pushed. I know my children struggle with nightmares. I know they are subject to movie posters of 'IT' and 'joker' in public arenas and know it will play on their dreams. I know we've had to avoid Halloween shop displays due to this (and Im talking entry point Grim Reaper mannequins) . Surely, if we are going to include our kids on such festivities, we can keep such things in mind and stop decensitising them or being so inconsiderate to those more sensitive of heart??? Pehaps we could keep things more PG around kids plz??? Is this ok to say such things??? See more
