19.01.2022 Happy Bin Trim client! Good Morning, We are going very well with our sustainability plan, I have attached some photos to share with you. After receiving our plan from you, I presented the information at our educator meeting, I also researched some ideas for the educators to help them incorporate the small changes. We have placed our shredded paper in our entrance area for families to take, it goes very quickly, we have a family that takes it for their pets bedding, reusable... office paper is collected and given to the rooms for the children to use for craft or for changing nappies on, our bins are not as full now. Our garden at the front now has sticks in the water bowl for the bees and we have added some fast growing large grass plants for shade. Our Director challenged our educators to making sustainable Christmas decorations for their rooms, it was exciting to see how involved the children and educators were, each room received an award made out of sustainable items. The small changes are making educators aware of how easy it is to implement sustainability within their programs. Thankyou again for visiting us and getting us inspired and motivated to making small changes. Regards Deidre Healy Educational Leader Carinya Early Childhood Centre Cowra Early Childhood Services

04.01.2022 Allan Donnelly Podiatrist of Q City Podiatry. Many of their clients are diabetic & come in for ulcer treatment & dietary advice. His receptionist Jane Bloomfield complained that Lite n’ Easy who provide dietary meals for health & weight loss could not recycle their empty plastic food bags. The Bin Trim team wrote to Lite n’ Easy who provided simple instructions to recycle all food bags in future.

04.01.2022 A shining example of how the hotel industry is taking steps towards sustainability... Hello Annabel We have put designated bins in rooms for recycling which have been working really well, Have taken copies of Bin Trim stickers you left last visit and placed them in compendiums for guest information,... We have also managed to get weekly rubbish pickup down to 1 240 litre bins (roughly 360 lts) and always working on improving this where we can Have attached couple of photos I meant to inform you we have had some feedback from guests , that they have never come across a dedicated recycle bin in a motel room before, Seems a no brainer to me ,so we were happy with those comments, although most guests use the bin without comments Regards Rick & Dell Bourne Aalana Motor Inn
