16.01.2022 Sri Om Care has been conducting online meetings for our seniors.. Today was a special Isha Yoga Session with Abhishek Guru from Yoga Sadhana. Abhishek taught our seniors some of the simple Isha Hatha Yoga practices. This session was a combination of talk and demonstration video and practice of the asana / kriya. It was a special occasion because today is Sadhguru Jis birthday today.... Sri Om Care team would like to thank Abhishek Guru for taking the time out to teach us the simple techniques to keep us healthy. The online meeting is gaining more and more participants every week. We would like to thank our seniors and their families to making these online meetings a success. 09.01.2022 Sri Om Care is trying to bring to you professionals from different field to present about topics that are informative. As a part of this we got one of our supporter and well-wisher Mr. Harish Prasad, Director of Harish Prasad & Associates to educate us about wills and power of attorneys. Legal matters are complicated and we all can use some direction when it comes to matters of law. Mr. Harish Prasad did an excellent presentation on the importance of Will and what are the sit...uations we need consider when it comes to making your will. He also touched upon the types of Power of Attorneys and their importance. Many Sri Om Care members and outsiders joined the online session. We have many more sessions lined up for September. 05.01.2022 Sri Om Care is there for you under strenuous conditions of COVID 19. Our passion is improving quality of life for people in need. I, As a son, as a father and as a grandfather, Ive had to experience firsthand the deep challenge, and even heartache, that comes as the people we hold most dearly grow old and need care.... I know what it is like as a family to hand across someone you love so deeply to a team of carers - and hope and depend on them to care for your Mum and Dad in a way you would. My time in public life also gave me exposure to many elements of care. Through my involvement in the community, I observed the power of caring for families in a holistic way who were dealing with frail aged. The care, the support, the hope, and the impact of the carers on the lives of these families is something that will always stay with me. I truly believe that how we care for the people we love as they move into their life says everything about us as individuals, and as a society. The impact of the ageing population, and the need for care is a challenge that Sri Om Care will take up in the next decade. Im looking forward to understanding from our staff and experts how we will face this challenge and, just as importantly, set the benchmark of care for all of the clients we serve. On a daily basis, living out of our SWAMIJIs and DEVI MAs vision and mission for Sri Om Care are our dedicated staff and volunteers. I can think of no greater privilege than to help them care for some of the most vulnerable people across Australia. I sincerely look to supporting a team that - whilst they may not be on billboards, or in the limelight - are heroes to the many families and friends of those they care for.

04.01.2022 Time to Catch up, Appreciate, Thank, Be Grateful - YES - That is AGM of Sri Om. This year it was 15th year event. There were so many changes, inspite of COVID, Sri Om Could deliver the needed services successfully at Home, at Centre and everywhere. Sri Om at the same time, thankful to all those staff, volunteers who were making this achievement possible - Infact this achievement is theirs. Sri Om is once again thankful to all the supporters, donors and they have been WALK...ING together with Sri Om in its cause and activities. This was evident from the numbers present in the AGM and equal numbers present on line despite hick ups they faced in transmission. Above all, Sri om had its blessings from our Guru Devi Ma and inspiring Swamiji from Darwin. With FOLDED HANDS, Sri om Management Team is requesting each and every one to spread word about our services, and be with us in our service to the HUMANITY. This was the view of all the Special guests assembled there that evening. Sri Om Can speak your language be it English, be it any other ethnic language. Sri Om has the answer.
