09.01.2022 Cases are currently in our community. NSW Health warning issued about gastro outbreak in childcare centres. Childcare centres are experiencing "higher than u...sual" numbers of gastroenteritis cases, prompting NSW Health to warn parents. Now parents have been urged to be extra vigilant as significantly higher than usual rates of gastroenteritis have been reported at childcare centres across NSW. NSW Health says over 480 children and 120 staff at early childhood education and childcare centres in NSW were reported to be affected during October and very high numbers continue to be reported through November.
