25.01.2022 I just came across this photo of my dancers waiting to go on at the 2013 NSW State Committee Fundraising Concert. Thanks to whoever of my wonderful dance parents took this great shot. Imogen and Isabella look absolutely terrified lol but it was a great performance! One of my all time favourites.

21.01.2022 Thanks to my wonderful dancers (and the parents for bringing the girls to extra lessons) for all of the hard work put in in preparation for your exams in June and December last year and achieving great results and improving technique along the way. Of the two categories in which we did exams, junior highland exams and lesser known exams, our studio came 2nd in both for Honour Points in the Southern Region! We've been challenged to do jig and hornpipe exams this year so get shuffling.

19.01.2022 If anyone is looking for accommodation in Sydney for the Australasians, I can book limited one bedroom apartments for 4 people (1 queen bed, 1 sofa bed) at Wyndham Suites Sydney, corner of Wentworth Avenue and Goulburn Street, very close to NDAAI headquarters if you are attending the workshop. Cost is $300 for 7 nights from Friday, 26 June to Friday, 3 July. Obviously you don't have to stay for a week, but it is a bargain even for 2 nights in Sydney. There is a mini kitchen in these rooms. I can book this through my timeshare, so it is a very good deal. First in, best dressed. Link to the accommodation: https://www.wyndhamhotels.com//wyndham-suite/photo-gallery

19.01.2022 Unfortunately The Scots College has cancelled the Highland Gathering this Sunday, including our competition, due to the corona virus. It is a shame as we had 40... entries including one Canadian. We want to thank everyone for their support and hopefully we will see you all next year. Entries will be refunded. See more

16.01.2022 Woke up to a wonderful surprise on my verandah this morning. My longest standing dancer, Ruby, and her grandma, Irene, said they’d drop over some shortbread, but of course it was much much more. All gifts had tags on them with lovely messages of why I deserved them. Very sweet. Thank you so much and a big thank you to all my other dancers for the lovely Christmas gifts. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Looking forward to a bigger and better 2020 xo

09.01.2022 Cooling off after the competition yesterday. Lunch on the foreshore followed by a dip in the Harbour at Queens Wharf Newcastle. As I was the responsible guardian I made them show me their best leaps! No swimmers, no towels but we made it work!
