19.01.2022 Last weekend we took a team of our young horses to Biggenden to compete in the 80km event. The horses were well and truly prepped for this event as they showed us by being quite the handful for the first leg which led to a very interesting start! All 4 horses completed successfully and a great ride was had by all. Ema Basic riding S’Shaada Cosmopolitan, Phoebe Wilson riding S'Shaada Material Girl, Saasha Grogan riding S'Shaada Afrika and Taylor Grogan riding Dee Dee. 16.01.2022 We are so sad to see that so many long standing clubs are being forced to stand down from running some of the best Endurance Events in Queensland. Voting is so important. This motion caused so many rides to fall off our calendar in 2020 and will continue to do so if nothing changes.

16.01.2022 What a weekend. We took 4 horses to the Cooyar Endurance Ride all of which started the 83km event. Unfortunately about 2km into the ride there was an accident which led to all 3 of the novice horses being floated in off track. Horses passed the vet check and were considered withdrawn. One rider went to hospital but is ok now thank goodness. Thank you so much to the ride organisers and everyone for getting immediate help to my team on track. Also to Olly Lochtenberg who jump...ed off his own horse to catch my 2 who had bolted down a bitumen road heading towards the highway. I am proud to say despite all this craziness that Halo Rhapsody In Blue and I went on to complete the 83km ride coming 3rd Middleweight in a riding time of 5hours 58minutes with all A’s and 1’s in his logbook! I am so proud of my horse. This was the first time I’ve ever let him run and he did so well on an extremely challenging track. He’s carrying on today like he could do it all again! 08.01.2022 What an amazing weekend our team had at Stirling’s Classic on the weekend. Great track, brilliant people and wonderful horses. 6 horses were entered in 8 events with 100% completion and amazing logbook results. Saturday 10km Saasha riding Halo Rhapsody in Blue and Harrison riding Cajun. This was Harrison’s first endurance ride and he had so much fun! ... Saturday 40km Phoebe riding S’Shaada Afrika Ema riding S’Shaada Quickstep Sunday 40km Giaan riding S’Shaada Afrika Sunday 80km Saasha riding Halo Rhapsody In Blue Mark riding S’Shaada Zephyr Taylor riding Dee Dee This was Taylor’s first 80km riding having only completed her second 40km 3 weeks prior. After a 2am start she aced the track with hardly any complaints. We couldn’t be prouder of our 7 year old daughter. A HUGE thanks must go to our wonderful team! 02.01.2022 This year we took 5 horses to Bony Mountain to compete in various events over 3 days. On the Friday Phoebe Wilson took S'Shaada Material Girl around her first 40km event. Saturday saw Saasha and S'Shaada Afrika and Taylor and Dee Dee complete the 80km. This was Afrika's first 80km ride and he completed with flying colours still pulling at the finish. Sunday we had Phoebe and S'Shaada Cosmopolitan set out for her first 40km event as well while Ema Basic took S'Shaada Quickstep around her first 80km ride. We are proud to say we had 100% completion at this event with all 5 horses pulling up exceptionally well at the finish. Sunday also saw Harrison and Kiara win the dog show!
