11.01.2022 : Crews are currently visiting customers in Mount Gambier to turn off gas meters, with Australian Gas Networks stating ...that customers do not need to be home when this occurs. Once the gas supply has been restored, these contractors will revisit each property to reconnect the supply and manage the relighting process for appliances. Customers will not be charged for this process. AGN are also reminding customers not to attempt to connect natural gas appliances to alternative gas supplies such as LPG bottles, as this could result in a fire or explosion. There is still no timeline for when gas supply will be reconnected, but AGN have said given the lengthy process of relighting, even if the fault is rectified today, customers should not expect their supply to be reconnected tonight.

01.01.2022 Australian Gas Networks and the APA Group have released a map showing the schedule of relighting of gas services across Mount ...Gambier over the weekend. Customers are being asked not to turn on gas meters themselves, as APA crews will do so only once they've determined it's safe to do so.
