19.05.2022 Last night, Science and the Study Hubs China team hosted a virtual Alumni Panel Discussion on the theme 'STEM Industry Trends in China'. The discussion delved into opportunities within the STEM industry and how STEM skills are applicable across a wide variety of industry careers. Speakers for the night included: UoM's A/Prof Alex Johnson, Associate Dean, International, FoS, who shed light on his research on biofortification - the development of more nutritious food cro...ps. UoM alum Prof Xingzhan Wei, from the Institute of Green and Intelligent Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, who spoke about his research in nanotechnology. Our UoM alumni panel including Yifan Wang and Yun Hu, who shared their career paths and experience in the STEM industry in China. Thanks to all those who attended. We hope gained some useful tips that will help propel your career in STEM!
