Virtual Conference 2020 LPNZ wishes to extend an invitation to SSPA to join our virtual conference this weekend Saturday 7th November / Sunday 8th November. This event will take place over Zoom. Below is the list of events we are hosting and the times (in AEST). If any of these interest you and... you wish to join us or you have any questions, please email [email protected] We would love to see you there! Events Itinerary Saturday 7th November: Young Adult's Morning Tea: 8AM - 9AM (AEST) Open to those 18-30s who want to catch up and have a discussion on what’s been going on in your lives over some morning tea. Sports Chat: 10AM 11AM (AEST) LPNZ Sports Liaison Amy Dunn will chat about involvement in sports as an LP and offer advice and answer questions. Open for those of any age who want to get involved with sports. Amy is also in her final year of occupational therapy studies and is happy to chat about that also. Teen Talk: 12PM 1PM (AEST) - Open to all aged between 13 19. A chance for you to all catch up with each other and maybe even make new friends. We would love to hear from you all about topics you may want discussed or any questions you might have so we can have some older members on hand to answer them and support you. Over 40's Afternoon Tea: 12PM 1PM (AEST) A chance to catch up with members you haven’t seen in a while. Bring along your afternoon tea and enjoy the company. Parenting Chat: 1PM 2PM (AEST) A useful discussion group to talk all things parenting. Discussion topics could include school transitions, equipment, friendships and more. When registering let us know any topics you want to discus and your family. Sunday 8th November: Kid's Talent Show: 8AM 9AM (AEST) Anyone under the age of 18 is invited to show off their talent. Whether that be a drawing, dancing, singing, magic whatever! This event is also open to everyone to come and support. AGM: 12PM (AEST) onwards The AGM will go ahead via Zoom. Zoom guidelines and other information about the AGM will be emailed to you in advance. This year the LPNZ awards such as the Kerry Rowe Memorial Award will be awarded at the beginning of the AGM so make sure to tune in for that! Closing Night Disco: 2PM (AEST) onwards To finish the weekend we invite those of all ages to join us for a disco celebration. We will share highlights of the weekend and say our goodbyes.
