25.01.2022 Just had a call to remove a juvenile brown from a garage on John Leary st Pirie. Unfortunately for this fella he came off second best with a redback spider , it's incredible how often this seems to happen. You can see the bite sites on the snakes body .

20.01.2022 Hi , I did it again ! Forgot to push bloody record , so I put it back in front of the camera . This poor fella had significant damage to the tip of its tail as well as what you can see , looking closer at the injuries I'd guess it was run over . This guy will be staying home for a while where it can hopefully recover .

18.01.2022 Hi , had a job at Warooka yesterday on the YP . 2 baby snakes had turned up at the back door of a property. I was asked to try and locate where they were coming from . After hours of searching we come up with nothing, they could possibly be coming from under the concrete foundations of the old farmhouse. Unfortunately the cat had killed both snakes . They turned out to be baby yellow faced whip snakes , a first for me . They are venomous but way down on the list. I also found a few of these eggs in the garden , very cute .

13.01.2022 Hey been a long time between snakes , had a callout today regarding a python in a shed in Risdon Park, cute little fella about 2 foot long and very friendly . I took him home and had a bit of a think about lost python callouts and there was only one outstanding from about 6 months ago , happened to be the next door neighbour from today's callout. Needless to say they were extremely happy to have him back .

12.01.2022 Hey guys , while the snakes are sleeping I'm thinking of doing a bit of firewood splitting and firewood cutting . If you have a problem splitting those big logs give me a call for a quote . Can also come to your property and cut and split your wood at an hourly rate .

10.01.2022 A nice chunky 4+ foot Eastern brown taken from a property on Holze court this afternoon , thanks to the property owners for keeping an eye on it until I got there . Just got home from this job and had a callout at Sayner court, the snake had disappeared after the owner scared it before I got there . Cherrs

10.01.2022 Hi , managed to catch one of the elusive buggers that's been hanging around a house on Henry st West Pirie. Hubby came home to find the snake on the front raised doorstep, wifey watched it through the front window disappear into the base of a strawberry planter box , both managed to keep a presence until I got there , if they hadn't it would have just slipped away unnoticed. Bit bloody windy ! Cheers

09.01.2022 Hi , had a callout in Crystal Brook today , I'm pretty sure it's the same snake that managed to get away from me last season. The property owner did a great job keeping an eye on it until I got there.

06.01.2022 Hi , just a reminder that snake season is here again , in the last few weeks I have attended 3 properties where a pet has been bitten by a snake , sadly a cat and dog passed away and the other dog was given antivenom and survived. To reduce the chance of a snake coming into your property put a bit of thought into where you place your pets water dish, perhaps inside or up on a bench for your cat . Try to keep your yard clear of unnecessary rubbish foliage and building materials, places where a snake could shelter , and eliminate any rodents that are on your property. This snake was killed by a dog but managed to bite it first .

05.01.2022 Hey , had a callout from Jarrad Adams , I reckon that's number 5 I've removed from his property in the last 2 seasons. It was sunning itself on the driveway, Jarrad managed to pin it down in the garden mulch with a shovel as gently as he could , he then rang me and I was there within a few minutes . Remarkably there was only a couple of messed up scales on its back , hats off to Jarrad for not pushing that shovel right through . Cheers

02.01.2022 Hey , this is the little fella I caught the other week , he had quite a few injuries but seems ok now. Have only caught a couple of juveniles in the last 2 weeks ,they are definitely slowing down, am at 44 snakes for the season, hoping to get to 50 .

I am currently working in the smelters for Hazell Bros , helping with the ship unloading, but am still available to catch any unwanted visitors on my days off .
