11.01.2022 Shree Swaminarayan Temple Melbourne proudly presents The Knox Diwali & Ankoot e-Festival 2020 supported by the Victorian Government. The event spans over 2 weekends starting on the 7th, 8th & 9th which comprises of Week 1 and 13th, 14th & 15th which comprises of week 2. This Multicultural event is open to everyone and we welcome all to join us in the Grand Celebrations.

04.01.2022 Recently I thanked the Shree Swaminarayan Temple Melbourne in Boronia for their tireless work in supporting those who need it most with food relief. Today I am... stoked to announce this funding from the Andrews Government to help them not only continue to support so many in our community, but to expand their support which has made every difference to people doing it tough. I can't thank organisations and communities like the Shree Swaminarayan Temple Melbourne for helping those who need it most. Over the last few months they've been getting food packages out to some of the most needy across our community and this will ensure they can continue to do this important work. The temple community have really gone above and beyond and to date have provided over 2,000 food and grocery family packages (which last up to 2 weeks) and have teamed up with Foothills Community Care - Community Meals to provide over 1,000 hot meals as well. Our community has come together like never before to chip in and help people out during these difficult times and I wanted to again acknowledge the fantastic work of this and so many other communities. It was great also, to recently announce $44,000 of funding from the Andrews Government to provide much needed upgrades around their temple as part of grant, which will ensure it is ready to welcome people back when safe to do so.
