25.01.2022 Red was the colour of the day today as we joined in with many other schools and organisations to commemorate Day for Daniel. Day for Daniel is Australia’s largest day of action to raise awareness of child safety, protection, and harm prevention. Held annually on the last Friday of October, Day for Daniel honours the memory of Daniel Morcombe. #ourstoshare... St Agatha's Catholic Parish Clayfield See more

11.01.2022 Tomorrow is the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, a significant day in the Liturgical Calendar for Presentation Sisters and Presentation Communities, such as St Agatha’s. As a school goal this year, we have aimed to develop our understanding of Nano Nagle’s story and the Presentation Charism. With that in mind, today our school community celebrated Presentation Day with a whole school Liturgy and some rotational prayerful events. Our Year 6 leaders led us in, a guided... meditation and prayers at our Labyrinth, the making of gratitude cards and lantern making, to symbolise the lantern that Nano Nagle carried to light her way. Tradition tells us that Nano carried a lantern as she moved through the darnkness in the streets of Cork in search of children to educate and the local poor in desperate need of food, comfort and shelter. Please see our newsletter for photos from our celebration of Presentation Day and a very special thank you to Mr. Knowles for organising a wonderful celebration. #ourstoshare #BCE #brisbanecatholiceducation St Agatha's Catholic Parish Clayfield See more

09.01.2022 These swimming caps, togs, googles, swim shirts and big smiles can only mean one thing. Yes! It's SPLISH SPLASH DAY for our Prep, Year 1 and Year 2 students. The weather was perfect and our little swimmers loved their morning in the pool. Lots more photos of our students in action at Splish Splash will be available in our newsletter tomorrow. #ourstoshare St Agatha's Catholic Parish Clayfield

08.01.2022 So many smiles at our Prep 2021 Orientation this morning. Our Orientation started with a special Liturgy lead by our 2021 school leaders and a beautiful hymn sung by our current Prep students. The new Preps then met their buddies, our current Year 5 students, for some Prep classroom and MacKillop Place fun. It won’t be long till our new Preps are walking through the gate on the first day of school next year. #ourstoshare St Agatha's Catholic Parish Clayfield #BCE #brisbanecatholiceducation

08.01.2022 You’re all very welcome for your upcoming smiles as you take a look at these super cute photos celebrating World Kindness Day. Our very clever Miss Delbridge created this beautiful wall art and we think it looks super. Even though we think everyday should be World Kindness Day, it’s never too late to show kindness in your words and actions each and every day. #ourstoshare... #worldkindnessday2020 St Agatha's Catholic Parish Clayfield See more

Many of the recordings of the...se events can be found here, https://australiareads.org.au/ if you would like to take a look. We also had some other lovely staffroom treats arrive that we were very grateful for as well as the coffee van onsite this morning to get World Teachers’ Day off with a bang. #ourstoshare St Agatha's Catholic Parish Clayfield #BCE
