07.01.2022 NEW JUNIOR FUTSAL TRAINING PROGRAMS & CLINICS AT OUR NEW DERRIMUT SPORTS CENTRE - Cnr Makland and Foleys Rd Derrimut When: Monday & Tuesday 4:15pm to 5:15pm Wednesday & Thursday 4pm to 6.15pm... All children participating in the clinics/training sessions will be offered a spot in our Friday night and Sunday mornings Junior Futsal competitions Age groups: Catering for children from the age of 3 to 16 Elite level players will be offered a spot on our Club representative teams that will play in the Summer Melbourne Futsal League against other clubs across Melbourne KINDY FUTSAL We are also offering Kindy Futsal training clinics during the day at our Derrimut Strikers Sports Centre. We are taking enrolments for children from the ages of 2 to 6. At the moment times available for sessions are between 11am and 2pm. Later in the year, we will be looking at starting earlier from 9am. Our 60 minute program run during the day that caters to younger boys and girls that are not in school yet. We aim to develop your childs fundamental skills including movement and co-ordination, individual ball skills and small sided games. It’s a great way to make new friends and enhance self-esteem, social and communication skills whilst emphasising the importance of being active and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. 05.01.2022 hey everyone, With all the cold and wet weather around, we might be able to help out any clubs or teams that want to train indoors on Thursday and Friday. We have some court space for hire on Thursday night at our Derrimut facility and some space at our St Albans courts and Derrimut courts on Friday night. 01.01.2022 Strikers Futsal Club would like to announce that as of Wednesday the 15th of July, it will be taking over the day to day running of the Derrimut Two court stadium on Foleys rd, Derrimut (formerly operated by the YMCA.) Opening hours Mon to Fri. 11am to 9pm (wed/thur 10.30pm) Sat/Sun. 8am to 5pm... The courts will be available for casual hire and use from 11am to 6pm mon to Thursday and from 2pm to 5pm on Saturday and 8am to 5pm on Sundays. In the long term we will be offering new Futsal training programs and competitions and will be also starting a Basketball competition. School programs and Interschool sports events will also be run.
